Vanity - Trump Rally this evening in Indiana.

Posted on 05/10/2018 2:56:47 PM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX

In my time on God's Earth, I have been lucky to be present with three of our greatest Presidents, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan and another one rising to that status, POTUS, Donald J. Trump.

When FDR passed on, I was just five years old, but, I remember our next door neighbor, a German lady and her husband standing outside their home looking at the mounted "Gold Star" for the son they lost during WWII and they were both crying and I did not know why. I asked my Mom why they were crying, and she told me they were crying for the loss of their son and now the loss of POTUS, FDR. From that point on I knew that FDR was "special".

Many years later when POTUS, Ronald Reagan passed on, I vividly remember his funeral motorcade on the way to his burial site. Thousands of Americans lined the street, roadways and avenues mourning and crying for him. Motorists by the thousands stopped on the California freeways and got out of their cars & trucks and saluted him as the motorcade passed. I then knew POTUS, Reagan was "special"...too.

I read today that one of the Korean-Americans released from a North Korea prison, on his way home to the USA, requested that he be allowed to get off one of the airplanes being refueled in Alaska for the long flight home, so that he might be able to see the daylight. He had been kept mostly in darkness as he performed hard labor while in prison. With this tidbit and all the other leadership activity brought forth by POTUS, Donald J, Trump, I realized the POTUS, Trump is headed to greatness also.

So....fellow Americans, boys & girls attending the Trump rally tonight in Indiana, when Trumpie takes the stage, realize what you have, and give him the grandest arrival welcome he will ever get. Thank you!!!

Hypotheticals don’t apply. Everyone doesn’t or have an interest in posting three vanities per day.

Besides, it’s not different that this pointless back and forth between you and me.

Done here.

Beautiful post, JLAGRAYFOX.

And I agree with you that President Trump will go down in history as one of our greatest presidents.

LOL that may be beyond his capabilities. He’s pretty much limited to complain, bitch and groan in that order.

FDR, while very impactful, was not great. He screwed us up in too, too many ways. But congrats to your longevity!!! As far as Humblegunner goes I think of him to be a real life version of Jeff Dunham’s “Walter”. Crotchety...but likable anyway!

And if all of us posted three stupid vanities per day then we would be awash in stupidities and poorly written trash.

And if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle........Since neither one has occurred in my 19 years on this site, I ain't getting my trousers in a knot...........

Do you want to be awash in stupidities and poorly written trash?

I will say this about FDR. He was probably the best leader of a major power during WW2. Far better than Hitler, Stalin. Mussolini, Tojo or Chaing. And yes, even better than Chruchill, who, despite his ability to inspire his people, had some hare - brained ideas and tried to duck challenging the Germans head on.

FDRs accomplishment was in surrounding himself with top-notch military talent and allowing them to go win the war their way. None of the others did that.

Domestically, I don’t approve of his policies. He lacked Churchill’s vision for a post-war world, although many of his policies set the table for us to dominate the peace. But he did know how to win a war in a way not matched by most of his successors.
