We don’t have Dick’s here because I’m in Bass Pro country, but I’ve seen their PC TV ads, and I hope they go broke!
Sports Authority went under and I suspect it was because of their PC gun control bent. Dick’s will go the same way.
I would make a guess that by the summer of 2019....Dick’s is sold off to some Chinese company, or maybe Wal-Mart, and the whole strategy of Dick’s is called a failed ‘gimmick’.
GOOD!! These corporations in trying to be politically correct and be favored by the left NEED to go out of business. One thing’s for sure.....I’ll boycott every damn one of them!
I stopped buying items from them when they caved on 2A a few years ago. I hope they go under.

But wait a minute. Won’t liberals rush to support Dick’s since polls “overwhelmingly” show that gun control is popular? Also because of their name too. Why aren’t homos shopping there?
I’m sure they don’t mind. I’m confident their shareholders don’t mind either.
Their parking lots have been empty since all the stuff began. And I live in MA. No Bass Pro around me, and no Cabellas (there is one in East Hartford, but we can’t even buy ammo there!)

Drove right on by there and went to Cabelas instead.
Even treated myself to a couple of new lures and a few boxes of ammo while I was there.
Don't get me wrong. I hope Dicks goes under ASAP, but without sales numbers, this is speculation, not news.

AFAIC, Dicks is just another, mediocre big box store run by pearl-clutching asshats who’re more worried about being PC than running a business. I went there once some years and was underwhelmed. They didn’t have what I wanted. I’ve shopped with Cabela’s (now Bass Pro) for decades and will stick with them.
At the risk of staying the obvious, DON’t be a DICK!
We have Dick's Sporting Goods stores all over the place here in CT. At minor league baseball and hockey games they're always giving away Dick's $10 off coupons. I can count on one hand how many times I've bought anything at an overpriced Dick's store.
