Wow. The DC Metro has had lots of problems in recent years.
Add another problem.
More issues cause more people to abandon public transportation. Sad but true.

Yep, WMATA is definitely in a death spiral.
Not as bad as BART.
Very heavy rain in the past hour, up to 2 inches. Weather service has issued “areal flood advisory.”

If they are wiping corn off their shoulders, they have bigger problems. Props to KTLA CH. 5 for that one. (Not for the easily disgusting)
The Metro is a patronage job program. Any transportation service provided is strictly incidental. And they are still expanding it - service to Dulles Airport coming soon. Finally, its not cheap!
I don’t know if that much water coming through a ceiling makes it very structurally sound

LOL! That’s about three blocks from my office. I HATE Metro!
