he forensic psychiatrist who assisted in the investigations into the death of American child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey has been shot dead outside his office.
Dr. Steven Pitt, 59, helped investigate the high profile 1996 murder case as well as a string of other killings in the Phoenix area more than a decade ago.
In JonBenets case Pitt believed the pineapple found in the six-year-olds digestive tract, which her mother denied she ate, was proof of a family cover up.
He was leaving his office when witnesses say they heard a loud argument then gunfire as he was shot on Thursday.

He’s a free man, as of last December. I don’t find any on-line evidence that he’s encountered any attention from law enforcement since then.
Seemed like a very SICK family!
I have never believed the Ramsey family had anything to do with their daughter's murder. Boulder PD botched the case from the moment they arrived on scene.
Does Burke Ramsey have an alibi?
***************************************
Id rather have the cold case detectives see if they can find a familial/ancestry near match with the unknown DNA that was found in the original investigation. Find out if THAT guy has an alibi.
I agree... the Boulder PD acted like the gang that couldnt shoot straight.
People should leave what is left of this family alone unless they have 100% proof someone in the family did it.
Please stop.
REALLY????
Burke killed Jon Benet ...
add: allegedly.
“I have never believed the Ramsey family had anything to do with their daughter’s murder.”
I did. The pineapple. The note. The obviously staged crime scene. The lie about the son being up. The delay in calling for help. The lie about having searched the house (it ain’t that big of a house). The fact the family was till wearing the clothes from the night before.
There is just so much that anyone else would be in prison.
“People should leave what is left of this family alone unless they have 100% proof someone in the family did it.”
Considering the overwhelming evidence of their guilt, what do you think constitutes 100% proof??
What evidence of guilt? When you say “their”, who is “their”.
“I agree... the Boulder PD acted like the gang that couldnt shoot straight”.
And today they can use dope legally!
THE LATEST:
Today, 2 paralegals in the Phoenix area killed, another homicide at another office under investigation. Police say the paralegal murders are related to the killing of Pitt, the forensic psychiatrist.

Situation spinning out of control.
To me, it is looking like it is something else, unrelated to the killing in Boulder Colorado but it looks like someone aggrieved by the system is settling some scores.
A sick case all the way around. A little girl made up adult fashion and considered a beauty queen. What’s wrong with little girls being little girls and playing with dolls and toy sets and other little girls?
My stomach turns every time I see a little girl made up to look adult or sexy. Just effing disgusting.
I wondered if Patsy accidentally killed JonBenet by whacking her with a flashlight because she wet the bed, and further wondered if she wet the bed because she was being sexually molested, - perhaps by more than one person?
Scroll down and read the autopsy report:

“I have never believed the Ramsey family had anything to do with their daughter’s murder. Boulder PD botched the case from the moment they arrived on scene.”
totally agree on both accounts. Boulder PD were a bunch of Keystone Kops, totally wrecking the crime scene, letting people wander around for hours before the “kidnapping” turned into a murder after the body was found, as well as destroying all of the evidence embedded in the snow all around the house ...
“Does Burke Ramsey have an alibi? “
burke was a skinny little weak child when the murder happened ... no way could he have pulled it off ...
