He’s a free man, as of last December. I don’t find any on-line evidence that he’s encountered any attention from law enforcement since then.

I’d rather have the cold case detectives see if they can find a familial/ancestry near match with the unknown DNA that was found in the original investigation. Find out if THAT guy has an alibi.
