An off-duty FBI agent accidentally fired his gun, striking another patron in the leg, at a Denver nightclub while he was dancing early Saturday, police said.

THAT’S an FBI agent? Yikes. They SURE don’t make FBI agents like they used to.
What a dumb*ss. I love how he didn’t even bother to see if he hit anyone and if they were OK.

Goes without saying that if YOU or I were dumb enough to be put in the position of the ‘FBI ‘agent’’, we would be UNDER the jail with such charges as discharging within city limits, discharging in an occupied building, consuming alcohol while imbibing and whatever else they could pile on.
So this horsespattuti gets turned over to a supervisor?
At the scene or AFTER being arraigned? (sarc)
More embarrassment for the FBI. Sad what has happened to a previously respected institution.

Ditto for the U. S. Navy. It never would have managed to have last year’s two multiple fatality collisions on clear nights absent multiple, prodigious efforts at AA. Of course, the FBI manages to raise the Navy by a few due to massive, pervasive Obola-induced communist political corruption.

Every Agent I ever dealt with was a narcissistic, egotistical fool with delusions of grandeur.
I've caught them checking themselves in mirrors while interviewing persons, I've caught them "accidentally" flashing creds and badge while eyeballing a good looking woman, they lie about the most mundane things, then get all bent out of shape over "ethics" and "honor" among one another...just countless minutiae that one would think would simply not be present in the life or activities of a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
I learned the hard way back in the late '80's...never trust one of the SOB's.
I have yet to meet one that warranted my respect.

Should be charged convicted and jailed of negligence. And fired.

He didn’t seem concerned at all that he shot somebody.
His behavior from beginning to end was inexcusable.
An 18 year old soldier with a negligent discharge of a blank in a field training exercise would most likely face harsher discipline than this guy will.
There is no such a thing as an accidental discharge. This was a negligent discharge.
So why does his face get blurred but nobody else does?

It’s pretty sad that an ACCIDENTAL discharge is news.
Oddly here in Nevada you can have a blood alcohol level of 0.10 and still carry.
What an irresponsible jerk. I now have even less respect for the FBI...they hired (and trained) him. Hopefully, he’s fired (ands sued by the guy he shot).

Where have you been? This guy will go before a review board at which it will be determined that he needs additional training. He afterward will spend six months as a desk jockey. Then, he will be promoted.
He is a government employee with a badge and a firearm thus he is exempt from the laws written for us serfs.
This klown is the stereotypical federal employee.
