No because democrats can get away with it. Don’t believe me? It’s already happened. When Obama was president, he said Obamacare was not a tax. He repeated this many times to the American people. Yet when Sotomyor and the other democrats (along with Roberts) ruled the law constitutional, they disregarded his comments and reinterpreted the statute as a tax, even though it wasn’t written as such and he told the American people otherwise. These same hypocrite, democrat justices now want to hold statements made by Trump as a candidate as determinative in discerning the true intent of the travel ban. They even argue that we cannot ignore those statements in making a decision. Pure hypocrisy
