House Intel Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) is calling for 17 FBI and DOJ officials to testify on Capitol Hill about FISA abuse during the 2016 presidential election In a letter obtained by Fox News, Nunes requests that the joint task force of the Oversight and Judiciary Committees take steps to interview these officials because they may “have relevant information.”
The House Intelligence Committee does not have direct oversight over the FBI and the DOJ, so testimony is more likely to be compelled by referring names to the Oversight and Judiciary Committees.
“For the sake of transparency and to keep the American people as fully informed as possible about these matters, the task force should consider interviewing these individuals in an open setting,” Nunes wrote in the Friday letter to House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy and House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte.
In the letter, Nunes is also calling for Trump-hating FBI lawyers Sally Moyer and Kevin Clinesmith, who were recently unmasked my Chairman Meadows in a Congressional hearing with Inspector General Michael Horowitz to testify.
Another official named by Nunes is the FBI agent who was present at the General Flynn ambush with Peter Strzok, Joe Pientka. Rosenstein has fiercely worked to block Pientka from testifying.

I forgot, is Goodlatte also resigning at the end of this term, or just Gowdy?
Are these any of the “unnamed” agents that wanted to be subpoenaed by Congress to testify?
are they being forced to testify?

What does the public or anyone else learn from such a circus?
It is nothing but free campaign commercials for the committee members.
It all probably goes to soros and Russia, everyone else just useful idiots they could manipulate..No one goes into an op without insulation

At some point a congressman said "It's clear we've learned that Mr Rosenstein has complete confidence in his team and that he delegates to them without specific knowledge of their day to day activities so to get to the bottom of these we need to bring them in here."
Then they should issue 130,000 subpoenas until we get to the bottom of this.
Means nothing. Nobody is going to be indicted, much less convicted. The deep state owns everybody in that district.
I hate to be a pest about this, but:
Congress is neither an investigative nor a prosecutorial body. It is a congregation of BS artists constantly striving to look good.
They can conduct “hearings” about this matter until Christ returns without accomplishing anything.
Goodlatte and Gowdy are all talk - no action.
It’s as if they were assisting the d’rats in running out the clock and hoping the GOP loses the House in a last bid to destroy PDJT.
