I’m not accustomed to posting vanities so please be patient with me. I was watching the World Cup and a Wells Fargo Ad just aired. In the Ad, two white American males were walking down the street and one man was lamenting the fact that the US didn’t qualify for the World Cup.
His friend then gets a notification on his phone from Wells Fargo stating that someone charged thousands of dollars on his account at the Mexican fan store.
The first guy is alarmed and believes his friend’s account has been hacked. His friend then grins and opened up his jacket to reveal a “Mexico” jersey and proudly yells, “ Go, Mexico” in Spanish.
Then a Hispanic man standing nearby also screams “ Go, Mexico!” In Spanish.
BTW, I believe the Spanish term is “Vamos, Mexico” but my Spanish is very rusty.
At the end of the Commercial, Wells Fargo displayed their logo and beside the logo was a quick shot of the Mexican Flag then the “Go, Mexico!” slogan.
Viewing that ad, one would believe that the Mexican National Squad was the official squad of the US and that we are obliged to pull for Mexico.
I have already seen YouTube videos from ESPN and USA Today that actually stated that Americans had a moral obligation to pull for Mexico.
I’m so sick of leftists worshipping Mexico and everything Mexican that I cannot stand it. Mexico is slowly but surely invading the US, killing our citizens and waging war against us, but we are supposed to cheer for their team? I think not.
When it comes to the World Cup, I will pull for ANYONE over Mexico, even France. I’m not a German fan because of Merkel and the invaders but I was furious when Germany lost and put Mexico in the Final 16.

Mexico is the Cinderella team of this World Cup - so far. So, WF could just be jumping on the bandwagon.

Well, he bought Wells Fargo and it quickly got into TONS of legal and regulatory trouble....fake accounts, lies to mortgage loan applicants with hidden fees for services not even provided...... etc
Buffet needs to Drain the WF swamp... or go back to his old advice and get out of the banking business. He does not know how to run it. (And, I am convinced he is not intentionally a crook!.. that is, I believe this is incompetence not intentional mis-management)

Wells Fargo probably makes a lot of money sending cash to Mexico. It makes sense for them to support their customers.
