I ate alligator in Louisiana a while back. Its a great way to lose weight, each bite takes you about 26 minutes to chew.

I live in Orlando. Have never seen an iguana up here in the wild.

Parts of it are rubbery. You need to know how to prepare it. We used to have a restaurant near me that served gator ribs. Couldnt get enough of those.

Do they eat them rare or deep-fry them?

The absolutely very best meat I’ve ever eaten was moose meat taken in Ontario in the late 1960’s. Sauteed in butter and onions was the best my immature taste buds ever experienced. Maybe the excellent flavor and taste comes from the fact that moose eat aquatic plants and don’t forage nasty things like Cedar and other plants that deer prefer.

Based on a cursory web search, they can be grilled, steamed, or stewed. You’d have to pay me to eat them raw.

I'd rather eat a fish named Wanda... Are you refering to Jamie Lee Curtis? because, if you are, I'd Relish the experience.

Been waning to eat alligator for a long time.Had it prepared Creole style with tomatoes, onions and green pepper ... pretty good. Reminded me of a slightly fishy pork roast.

I had iguana in Guatemala. It was stewed in a seasoned sauce and served with corn tortillas on a banana leaf. It was really good.

:^) Hope you are doing well sir.
I sent this to my friends on in Cape Coral and told them I wanted to try this when I visit this fall. Iguanas are all over the place there. I will be sure to report back.

Hah, here in Lexington, KY the agency that takes care of the local parks recently brought in a family of goats to eat the kudzu.
