I started the bang list many years ago and it kinda brings a tear to my eye seeing it still being used. So many freepers from back in the day on the original list now dead and gone like nunya bidness, and other great freepers like Travis McGee now guest hosting Infowars. Just a great feeling to see it is still alive. That's all.
Haven’t spent too much time on the bang list but I have to share a minor experience from last weekend.
I lead a Trail Life USA boys outdoor adventure troop. In order to do firearms, the boys have to be supervised by a NRA instructor. So, several leaders from the area got certified a few months ago.
Me and another leader held a basic rifle class on Saturday. We did the classwork at my church then drove over to a range maintained by a local hunting club. The hunt club guy asked me the next day if I’d be interested in taking over for him as he wants to retire from their youth shooting program.
I was pretty gratified that as an experienced instructor, he thought a couple newbie instructors on their first class did a pretty good job.

Congrats & thank you for starting a good thing. While the forum seems to be a bit overrun by the blog-bang-pimps these days, it’s still good to see & participate with folks discussing their 2A freedoms.

The list I gave you wasn't the 'bang_list' per se -- that's a keyword that is added to firearms-related threads. What I gave you was my private 'RKBA' list. You've done a good job with that, and there's likely a lot of crossover.
The unexpected need to defend our God-given rights are what dragged me into politics 25 years ago. The 2A in particular.
