Wonder how much it would cost to get this printed in a few national publications?
Maybe something like National Review - although you'd have a better chance with USA Today as a guest editorial....

"These are the only seats where I'd say the GOP has a 50-50 chance or better of winning..."
Um, remember they gave Trump much less of a chance than that. Right up until the heads started to explode that fateful night in November.

I understand. I'll be thrilled to be wrong about this ... but when it comes to Senate elections states, incumbency is a very powerful advantage to have.
This is why the GOP can end up losing two seats of their own even in states where Republicans generally do well -- Tennessee and Arizona, where GOP incumbents Corker and Flake are retiring.

Fox News caught old Joe Manchin entering his office this morning. He looked and talked defensive. Dead man walking.

I think Indiana, Michigan and West Virginia are going Republican. I think Florida has a really good chance too.
The question is will Republican's be able to retain all the seats they'll be defending this Senatorial Election cycle? They're defending fewer seats than the Democrats are this time around so the possibility of picking up a few seats does exist.

About half your good shots for defeat are probably long shots for defeat.

I think Joe Manchin is a much stronger candidate than most Freepers seem to realize ... So's Tester. And while I would love to see McCaskill go down to defeat I will never underestimate the Missouri GOP's ability to screw things up.

Please Connecticut, could someone remove Chris Murphy from Washington...a potted plant is smarter than Chris Murphy...

The GOP is defending far fewer seats, but they have two retirements (TN and AZ) that put these seats at risk.

I got 'ya - I just have a feeling that God is not done with us yet, I believe the window is still open for a little longer.
Or not. God could just as easily say: "everybody out of the pool..." - then we get judged as a nation.

Tennessee may be at risk, I don’t think Arizona is. My hunch based on what I’m reading/seeing and people I know in AZ — nothing more than that.

"Tim Kaine is a lock in blue VA." The Republican Party should at least try.
Nothing is carved in stone in politics.
It looks impossible but Virginia Republicans
should give it their best shot.

Whatever. I lived in VA for 36 years and watched its transition from a solid red state to a purple state to now a solid blue state. The Dems will win every statewide race. NoVA has been transformed into a mini California, thanks to mass immigration and a huge influx of Beltway bandits and lobbyists from the Northeast.
I hope they try just as much as the GOP in CA should continue trying. But the reality on the ground is depressing. Demography is destiny.

If we swamp them in turnout, Kaine could very well lose.

"Sir, there are two passions which have a powerful influence on the affairs of men. These are ambition and avarice; the love of power, and the love of money. Separately each of these has great force in prompting men to action; but when united in view of the same object, they have in many minds the most violent effects. Place before the eyes of such men, a post of honour that shall be at the same time a place of profit, and they will move heaven and earth to obtain it. The vast number of such places it is that renders the British Government so tempestuous. The struggles for them are the true sources of all those factions which are perpetually dividing the Nation, distracting its Councils, hurrying sometimes into fruitless & mischievous wars, and often compelling a submission to dishonorable terms of peace. And of what kind are the men that will strive for this profitable pre- eminence, through all the bustle of cabal, the heat of contention, the infinite mutual abuse of parties, tearing to pieces the best of characters? It will not be the wise and moderate; the lovers of peace and good order, the men fittest for the trust. It will be the bold and the violent, the men of strong passions and indefatigable activity in their selfish pursuits. These will thrust themselves into your Government and be your rulers. -And these too will be mistaken in the expected happiness of their situation: For their vanquished competitors of the same spirit, and from the same motives will perpetually be endeavouring to distress their administration, thwart their measures, and render them odious to the people." 2nd of June 1787
Dr. Benjamin Franklin
Before the Constitutional Congress.

I just left Virginia for good. The conservatives have no plan for producing more conservatives, and there is zero outreach to hispanics. They should be grooming the next hispanic Ben Shapiro or Steven Crowder.
