It’s the way it should be. That was aweful having the home advantage decided by the all star game. It cast a taint on the series. Glad MLB was smart enough to see this. The reason for the ASG is to showcase the best in baseball and nothing else. On a different note, wow what a contrast was delivered between the utterly patriotic MLB and the me too NFL thugs.

I agree. I have relatives who are huge AL fans and I am always forever NL. Inter-league play has watered things down. Some would love for the DH to come to the NL and that would kill the game further as the stupid home plate and second base pansy slide rules.
Proper ballgame, although that means not as much “excitement”. Some great ball players in this game though. Some good stories between longtime vets families nelly making it, and the slew of amazing young players in the spotlight. Downside is listening to Buck.
Switched to the FOX station it was on, and they were having some PC, holding up signs, demonstration. Don’t know what it was for, didn’t stay there long enough to find out.

I certainly hope ALL those home grown NFL babies saw how REAL men act during the rendering of colors and playing of the National Anthem.
Funny how all those limited English Speaking SOUTH and CENTRAL Americans stood at attention and acted like they should.

Yea its a great game. Its all about the fans and the kids. They mic up the player in the field its awesome to hear the player. These guys sre really nice men. Lindor, Trout, sale, betts, Harper...
