Dallas police took six teens into custody for committing at least four robberies Sunday morning -- including robbing a couple at gunpoint who were out walking their dog.
The couple were out walking their dog just after midnight Sunday morning near the Bishop Arts District. A neighbor’s surveillance camera captured this video of three boys approaching them with guns drawn, yelling, “Give me your wallet! Give me your phone!”
Oh, those wacky teens.
Time to drag out the baby pictures.
Maybe we should outlaw teens? After all, it's for the children...
These types of robberies go in cycles, driven by word of mouth.
If somethings works once others will try it until they decide that the risk is too high.

Yes, and the stories of how they plan to attend college and make a wonderful life for themselves.
In the past year, newspapers and television stations have been purposefully and deliberately redacting the race of any non-white perpetrators of crimes from the descriptions in their stories.
For instance, police might describe as suspect as a “Black Male, approximately 6’0’’ with short dark hair, average build and wearing a gray t-shirt.” The media will rewrite the descriptors in the story and the PC version will read: “Police say the man was described as a man in his mid-thirties, 5’11”-6’0” in height, with and average build, short hair, and wearing a gray t-shirt.”
Even where there is video, the media will describe the perpetrators as “teens” or “individuals” or “a male” so long as the suspect is non-white.
PC must prevail over public safety.

Maybe the “teens” drove over to a nice neighborhood to find better victims?
Or, maybe you could choose to arm up and get some training and learn to protect yourself and your loved ones and not be sheep....
New show on NOTflix? “Sons of Obama!”. I mean they just hired an experienced power couple with years of entertainment creds under their belts right? And it looks like the pup at least backed up the last POS to get out of the car. The victims may have thought where they moved was all “trendy” and an “up and coming” area. Anyone familiar with the area? Those aspiring wrappers huh?

I know you are right but can we please be understanding toward the victims as in not blaming the victims? I thought once after a film with martial arts and action gunfire scenes that someone could blast through our door and one could hit the bedroom window and then spray the place with weapon fire and then I thought-—can’t anyone be relaxed and happy anywhere because of the Leftists, the “teens”,the MS-13 gangs and the terrorists? Everywhere like an airport for security?
We live by the actions of the criminals: lock car, do not gas up in Detroit or get carjacked there, avoid Chicago and San Francisco for tourism or a convention,get video home security system, check surroundings going into Trader Joe’s lot.

Several years ago the Dallas jury I sat on sent just such a “teen” away for 60 years (eligible for parole after 30). His wreck of a Momma and sister did the cliche caterwauling as he was sentenced, had to be removed. He sat there like a bump on a log.
Police work was impeccable; DNA and fellow criminal associate confirmed his presence at crime scene. Multiple victims of his other robberies recounted their horrors during sentencing phase.
No drama for the jury to convict, only we would not give him life as the prosecutor had requested.

Some reality show on police stories, can’t remember which one, had an employee who said his boss looked through folders of twenty-five to thirty blacks to find one white criminal to use for the TV case history recreation. Had to balance it or get criticized. Real life is more like the 25-30 criminals.
