Realclearpolitics calls House race tied
realclearpolitics ^ | July, 2018 | realclearpolitics

Posted on 07/25/2018 10:59:01 AM PDT by pabianice

Anyone else notice that realclearpolitics is calling the House race essentially tied (199-D, 202-R) with 34 too close to call. And the Senate 45-48 with seven too close to call? Seems unlikely to me.

Only ¡YEB! can defeat Hillary.
Trump will never be the Republican nominee.

If you watched Sabato on CSPAN prior to the 2016 election you could tell he was lying. He sounded like someone had kidnapped his children and was holding them hostage unless he pushed Hillary 24/7.

Hope they let his kids go free!

Political poling is the poster child of junk science.

The Fake Media, that their polling stooges, create “polling samples” by pulling numbers out of thin air that always, like magic, shift strongly to the GOP once Oct rolls around.

The purpose of the polls right now is to draw attention to the media outlet so it can sell advertising time and to hamper GOP fund raising and volunteer recruitment.

It is meaningless garbage designed for marketing, not forecasting.

What going to get more media buzz and attention”

“Oh it all over the Dems/GOP are skunked this year” or “It's neck and neck but it looks good for your team and bad for the other guys”

With the exception of special elections that may happen during the summer months, most voters don’t pay FULL attention to politics, until the tail end of the summer and the beginning of fall.

I dont give a rats ass if the republicans were up by ten bajillion. Gte out to vote and get them in.

Because I dont wanna see the likes of Mad Maxine and Schiff as committee chairs. Then take a look at who would be in line for the Judiciary if the Nation Socialists democrat party takes it.

Nonsense from partisan shills. They should change the name to Everclear. Thanks pabianice.

The democratic governor primary was months ago and Stacey got 424,000 votes. Kemp last night got 406,000. So you are big time mistaken. Bottom line is republicans need to vote. The black democrats will since it’s a historic election with a black female.

They are quietly working their way to reality. Of the 34 races they have tied, I’ve found about seven that aren’t tied at all, but are solid R. That means of the remaining 27, Ds have to, er

win them all.

And of those 6, half are due to being stolen by black-robed tyrants in Pennsylvania.

I can remember one of the founders of RCP being a regular on the Hugh Hewitt show. John McIntyre would come on and came across like a school kid with his stilted verbiage and endless hesitation markers that sounded awful. He also asked for donations to his site. They finally made it and now I don’t waste my time with them or Hugh anymore.

I wonder where the likes of Sabato and Cook get their data? I see VERY few district-specific polls - only generic ballot polls. So do they do their own private polling, or do they just pull their data out of their sphincter?
My guess is the latter.

Indictments of Deep State miscreants could be a major influence on the election. Or, Trump might pull off a major accomplishment like a tariff and trade deal, or a nuclear arms agreement with Russia, or get North Korea to deliver on denuclearization in a big way. One of the advantages of being the party in power is to have the ability to deliver successes that can alter the outcome of an election.

Oh I have no doubt there will be many unsealed indictments coming. You can see those that are the loudest against Trump are the ones who know they are in major trouble. They expanded Gitmo for a reason.

Never mind that the online polling was more accurate in 2016.
