Full Title: Boy Scouts call leader arrested in SC online predator sting operation 'abhorrent', ban him from programs
RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - A former Midlands Boy Scout leader has been called "abhorrent" by the organization after he was named as one of 38 people arrested in an online predator operation led by the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Heath Mills was arrested on two counts of solicitation of minor during "Operation Full Armor," Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced Thursday.
Mills was identified as a troop leader in Lexington County.
David Angle, assistant south executive/CEO of the Indan Waters Council of the Boy Scouts released a statement to WIS, saying Mills has been banned from participating in any scout-related activities.

The full statement says:
This individual’s behavior is abhorrent and runs counter to everything for which the Boy Scouts of America stands. Upon learning of these reports, we took immediate action to remove this individual and prohibit him from any future participation in our programs.
Nothing is more important than the safety of our youth members. We seek to prevent child abuse through comprehensive policies and procedures to serve as barriers to abuse. These include a thorough screening process for adult leaders and staff, criminal background checks, requiring two or more adult leaders be present with youth at all times during Scouting activities, and the prompt mandatory reporting of any allegation or suspicion of abuse.
As this matter is ongoing, please direct questions to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office. Or, for more information about the BSA’s youth protection policies, please visit bsayouthprotection.org.
In all, 38 people, including a colonel stationed at Fort Jackson arrested for solicitation, were arrested on charges varying from prostitution to child solicitation.

If nothing is more important to the safety of their kids they never should have allowed homosexual scouts OR scout leaders. They want to be in the Boy Scouts for a reason and I guarantee it ain’t because they like the woods.

Any church still sponsoring the LGBT Scouts of America needs its head examined. When Rex Tillerson and Bob Gates opened the doors to queers and queer scout leaders this was as predictable as the sun coming up. If the abuse happens in any activity sponsored by the church, it will be sued till hell freezes over.

There have always been problems in every organization so this is not entirely new.
What is new is that the Boy Scout top national leadership is no longer brave, clean, and reverent.
When we learned that Catholic priests were molesting young boys, we should have learned that this would happen in the Boy Scouts if the homos had contact with young Boy Scouts.
Now they are encouraged to join!

That's really wise. But it's a problem---almost every once-valuable and -reliable group now ends up slumping toward Hell.
Not that I have a bundle to leave, but I sure don't want it to go to the Scouts, or the college I attended, or libraries, or certain charity groups or even hospitals.
Vets groups, I suppose, if you can "vet" them...they do a lot of great work on the rivers and in the mountains where I live.
Thank you for that important lead. The Perversion Files are an insight into the depths the homo community will go to further their perversion. I noticed that such perverts were referred by the courts for psychiatric therapy in the 50s. That was a time when the homo orientation was considered a mental disorder. To bad the psychiatric community bailed out on America and let the Left normalize it.
