I think it was in Minneapolis where the cops saw an illegal lemonade stand. They helped the two boys get the proper city permits. (The boys were black).
In Missouri just the other day I read of a 10-year old kid had a goal of raising $12 to give to the local police force out of appreciation. He raised something like $3,200! And I always thought it was cool when some guy would give me a dollar for a 10 cent cup of lemonade! (”Wow - he must be RICH!”)
The kid was probably wearing a MAGA
hat, or he had Trump signs in his
yard.
If they shut this kid down, they
need to follow this action when
it comes to boy and girl scouts
selling cookies in front of
Walmart, after all, they would
be in direct competition with
Walmart’s cookie sales.
I bought a lot of stuff running a lemonade stand before I starting a gardening service @ $0.25 per hour. Learned a lot of good life lessons
My younger kids are making signs for a lemonade stand right now.
This weekend is going to be hot-hope enough golfers drive by to give them some business.

Please keep us posted as to the outcome you know like raids bail posting incarceration time legal fees.
PS if I were in the neighborhood I would drive over and buy some.
when a woman wearing a Health Department T-shirt turned up Friday and ordered it closed because the family had no permit.
A swift ass kicking would prevent this sort of thing.
Im just saying.
L
LOL. It is Minnesota, land of 10,000 regulations.
Last year the neighbor girls had a lemonade stand and even bought a package of cookies to sell ( pretty sure thats not exactly legal). The local police officer bought lemonade and cookies.
Hope my kids receive the same treatment :-).
Instead they should give him a loaded gun and let him play with it in a tourist area and kill an innocent girl. That should still be A-OK. (Kate Steinle) No crime there.
In CA illegals can sell ice cream and fruits on the street corners, no permits needed any more. Im SURE those illegals never reuse or refreeze their thawed ice creams on those 110 degree days.... Im SURE all the fruits are cutnin inspected kitchens with clean knives.... right?? They don’t need no stinking permits.
Plus, when their customers get violent diarrhea from the rotten food, they can legally poop on the streets.
If I was the Kid the lady in a health department t-shirt would have been asked to show Me Proper ID that she was REALLY WITH THE Health Department.
I was selling Breakfast Tacos years ago in Texas making them, Pico, 2 Salsas, Hot and Mild every morning. I made up an E-Mail on a free site and went to Local Businesses like the banks, city workers yard, hardware store, florist and the like. I had people send in the order for the next morning so I knew what I would need and not run out. I passed out Flyers with the E-Mail and Ingredient list: Ham/Bacon/Sausage/Potato/Eggs and Cheddar or Queso Fresco Cheese. Pick up to 4 Ingredients. $2.00 each.
One day someone was sick and didnt come to work so I drove down the road a bit and pulled into a place, went inside and got out Good Morning, Im selling breakfast... and a lady at one desk looks up and asks for My Vendor License and Health Department License and added if I dont have them to leave- NOW!
I told her to try to have a nice day and walked out.
As I come out the door another Lady is coming in and looks at the cooler smiles and says I see You met the food nazi bitch. Dont worry Youre not the first shes abused.
I laughed all the way back to the car.
The Bank were My best Customers (10-20 Tacos a day) and all I had to do was pull into the Drive Through Lane and use the drawer.
My oldest son had his bike stolen so he and a friend opened a lemonade stand with a sign saying just that “Bike stolen’
some of the fathers almost wrecked their cars trying to get over to his lemonade stand. I was very proud of my son and especially of the neighbors support.
