a woman’s right to choose....

Just before he ran for office, Al Franken said on a CSPAN comedy routine that there were now limits on the freedom to make comedy involving anything to do with abortion. He said they now told him he could only tell jokes about the first trimester of pregnancy.

Imagine being married to a man who wanted me deaf, dumb and blind! I’d be awfully depressed.

And nymphos are probably not faithful and would make lousy mothers.

FEMINIST TAXPAYER

Feminist women are school taught to be tax payers.

Work Corporate hard, divide your family, leave your husband, but Woman be a TAX PAYER! Society minders need your taxes.

Then grow old very poor and alone.

Well, that's just great. Now you've gone and done it.

She's always been a favorite of mine. But I've been trying to wean myself off of her lately. She was becoming an obsession.

Now, after seeing your comment, she's all I'm going to think about in my fantasies for the next six months.

Thanks a lot. :-)

Yes, you are 100% correct. She was also successful in her own right prior to meeting him.

I've got one of Weider's bodybuilding books, and there are tons of pictures him training Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc.

Wow, what a life, a spectacular career and a hot wife!

I used to think my EX was Perfect ... then out of the blue she left and wanted everything and then more.
Funny that I can still Love her for what I remember before she left and yet absolutely despise her for what she did.
I am now married to Light Beer and a Fishing Rod as it is all I have left, some of my friends say it was a bargain.

The average woman in the 50s had a 27.5-inch waist.

To quote a little Shakespeare lingo: who hath measured the way?

Ephesians has a great start - it’s a two-way street and each needs to do their part.

That’s the ideal formula. Sadly, the chances of both spouses buying in to that, and being on the same wavelength, are almost zero. In order for it to work it has to be an even 50-50 situation.

A great priest in NYC recently wrote that the difficulty people have in "speaking clearly" is that they also have to tell the truth. It is one thing to say "I love you" but it's entirely something else to say "when I ask you to do something, why don't you do it?" It's miraculous if the retort is "because it may be important to you. But it's not that important to me."

To be sure, that exchange in even the most stable of marriages can invoke World War 9. But such an exchange ultimately leads to clarity and truth - mowing the lawn isn't important because the game is on, but it makes the home look bad and since they homeschool she feels like it could make an already on-edge local school district more inclined to lower the boom because "it looks like they aren't taking care of the kids." If that was said, I bet the lawn gets mowed.

I agree such a partnership is hard. But we spend zillions on getting MBAs that preach the importance of partnering....it'd be nice to put that secular truism to work but following God's bullets.
