I think that you're supposed to send your dollar to Joe Kennedy. As to when you'll actually get your gas, that's up to Joe's boss Nicolás Maduro.

875,000 gallons FOR A DOLLAR???

Okay, this tank holds 9,000 gallons:

You'd need about a hundred of them to haul your gas down the highway.

A typical gas station could easily take one of them off your hands for, say, $2/gallon? It'd be a bargain for him. And you'd net about $17,000 per truck... $1.7 million for your trouble. Wow, tempting.

I wonder how long it'd take for the FBI to track you down and shoot you dead?

The problem with Socialism.

Step 1:

“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”― (Margaret Thatcher)... and you must take ownership of all businesses to survive.

Step 2:

Those nationalized companies become owned by your foreign creditors once the businesses can no longer deliver money to pay the governments bills.

Step 3:

Your 'government' is no longer...

A United States Dollar equals 207,100 Venezuelan Bolívar Fuertes.

A 2 liter coke is 201,256 Bolívar Fuertes
A dozen eggs can cost $150.76 on the black market
That’s 31,222,396 Bolívar Fuertes.
In the U.S., the average price of 12 eggs is just $1.49.

I’m not buying this story. Even with Venezuela in the toilet it strikes me as preposterous.

“Gasoline is so cheap in Venezuela, one can purchase around 875,000 gallons of 87 octane for $1. “

Now if I drove a tanker truck I might fill up there.
