Prince Harry sings King George's line at Hamilton charity show

The Duke of Sussex briefly burst into song at a charity performance of the hit musical Hamilton on Wednesday.

Taking to the stage to thank the cast and crew, he sang a line from You'll Be Back - assuming the role of King George III, his sixth great-grandfather.

But he cut the song after singing "You say..."

Hamilton tells the story of US founding father Alexander Hamilton, and features King George III in a scene-stealing comic role - peacocking around the stage as he expresses disbelief and frustration at America's battle for independence.

Lin Manuel Miranda told the audience how he had written King George's role during his honeymoon, adding: "Smash cut to 2018 I'm sitting next to his sixth-great grandson".

He later told reporters "you don't often get a direct descendent" to watch a show set in the 18th Century.

Not interested in this show. When they advertised for new cast members, the ads said ‘minorities only’. And I really don’t understand why it is so important to rewrite our history, giving PC minorities the credit for things White men did.

Probably not, London and New York casts for plays are usually different.

I don’t understand this new found love affair with Hamilton by the left — He is/was represented everything they hate.

I just don’t get it...

Politics aside, Barbara J. Elliot of ‘The Imaginative Conservative’ commends the show for the following:

“Why does the musical Hamilton evoke such a seismic response? First and foremost, it is a powerful story, brilliantly told. Secondly, through Hamilton’s story, we experience the dramatic story of the birth of our nation all the way from the American Revolution through the ratification of the Constitution and the presidency of John Adams. Third, Hamilton’s biography runs parallel to that of the musical’s creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda in striking ways. Both are immigrants and outsiders whose sheer genius has left a mark on history. And finally, this rendition of Hamilton’s personal story embodies many of the classical elements of tragedy Aristotle describes in his Poetics, making this biography a piece of high literary art.”

I was really excited to see the show. I saw Lin Manuel Miranda on The Tonight Show and was blown away by his genius.

I bought tickets, Hamilton cast dissed our magnificent VP, I sold the tickets and made over $5000 in profit.

I’m thrilled about the profit, but will never go to see the show.

I have also stopped watching the Tonight Show since the election and will never give Jimmy Fallon or Lin Manuel Miranda the time of day again.

Not the same cast, but that particular show was chosen for a reason.

His lovely wife is wearing a mini-skirt...…………...oh, so respectful of the Royal Family which accepted her!

If I were Will and Kate, I'd keep the kids far, far away from herl

The goal is to marginalize white people, and ultimately replace them, so that they become just one group clamoring and squabbling over the spoils of a once-great country.

The war against white people is real, and only one side is fighting.
