How much is that on a daily basis?
I think about $5. Is that a lot of deli meat?
JINT EGGLE (as we call it in Picksburgh) does have good deli ham.
Imaging the cops tracking your speeding for five years and dumping it all on you at once.
Personally, I don’t take this story seriously. But it is a fun story.
A lb of ham at GE, depending on the type (forgetting about chipped) is $5-$7 is a lb... 3-5 slices is probably around 1/5 to 1/4 of a lb...
So, probably looking at 1-2 dollars a day of retail value theft... So I am not sure how this guy is coming up with $9,000, if she at that daily and worked EVERY day.. 5 years would be less than $2000
Its about a pound. Sliced on 2, that would be a bunch of slices. I was at Walmart deli associate. If you ate a pound of deli meat every day for eight years, you would be very unhealthy. If she was full-time, working five days a week for the eight years, that would work out to $1.44 a slice if she had three slices a day on average. Obviously that cant be true. Someone is bad at math.
It's about half a pound of meat or less per day depending on what she was eating.
Assuming she worked 250 days a year over 5 years. That would be about $7.20/day. Which would be like half a pound of meat a day.
And while it’s possible she was consuming that much the fact is they have no evidence. They have one person’s testimony. Why didn’t the person report it earlier?
And if the worker ever had a supervisor that said it was okay to occasional try a slice, the case falls apart.
Five slices of meat is not 5$
