Trump cancels political rallies in Missouri & Mississippi, because of "Hurricane Florence".

Posted on 09/12/2018 7:55:18 AM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX

POTUS, Donald J. Trump has rightly cancelled two (2) planned and scheduled political rallies in the states of Missouri & Mississippi this week, so that he will have full 100% concentration on an oncoming, dangerous, devastating, hurricane on a path to land in Southern Atlantic State shorelines and interiors.

The was the right move, since it insures and assures the "Captain" will be in "the wheel house" commanding the destiny of the nations ship. Our prayers are with you and all Americans with exposure to the approaching danger.

God bless you POTUS, Trump, & God bless the American people,& God bless all of our brave American first responders, law enforcement officers, medical folks, military support groups, etc.!!! Lord, keep us all, safe, sound and secure!!!

WaComPost already doing, just that.

That’s okay....this POTUS fights back, unlike W.

Folks are so sick of the lying, LSM that their schtick won’t fly, like it did w/Katrina.

GW Bush is no strong leader like POTUS, Donald J. Trump is. Bush was not on top of his game, asleep at the wheel when Hurricane Katrina hit`Lousiana. But in Bush’s defense the deadbeat, Governor of Louisiana & the deadbeat, Mayor of New Orleans were both clueless, incompetent and useless in this entire “Katrina” episode”!!!

I know how you feel.

Cancellation of one Trump rally is bad enough, but two nights in a row is excruciating.

Wish President Trump could have stayed in Pennsylvania a little longer yesterday so he could drum up more support for Lou Barletta. However, I suppose that would have been deemed inappropriate timing to engage in politics on 9/11.

It’s indeed problematic how hurricane season coincides with the height of elections, occurring in the closing weeks.

Sorry, but you don’t realize how badly Ivan flooded us.. and it came up from the gulf....

Yes, you guys will get pounded, no doubt, I grew up in Coastal NC, been through lots of Hurricanes, not comparing what will happen here to there, but don’t think it won’t flood and cause problems far far away from the coast. We won’t be dealing with the wind, but believe me, go google Ivan, Pittsburgh, Flooding and see what I am talking about... Took YEARS for some of the small towns that got flooded by it to recover.. and honestly our ground is pretty saturated already...

We get a Flo over us dumping rain like Ivan, those same places will be under water... and its not just Pittsburgh its going to be cities and small towns all over appalachia possibly.

We’ll see what happens.

What can he do in the Oval Office that he can’t do in Missouri?

Nothing, of course. But he is President of the United States (I really like writing that) as well as leader of the Republican Party, but being President takes priority over politics. As important as getting ride of Claire McCaskill is, making sure FEMA is on the job is more important, all “optics” aside, IMHO. I had tickets to the rally at Cape Girardeau and was disappointed, but I understood.
