The White House AND Kavenaugh has to fight this tooth and nail. Kavenaugh has to stand up with ALL the women who support him and each woman has to say “This professor is a liar”.

When I was 19, I went to a party where a cute coworker who got pretty drunk. We'd been flirting and when I took her home, I got pretty touchy feely with her. She said stop but I kept on. I was really inexperienced and in the 1970s everyone was talking about sex so I figured damn the torpedoes. I was never going to force myself on her, and when it became clear she wasn't succumbing to my advances I backed off. We subsequently went on to date for several months.

If I was in Kavanaugh’s place and she came forward, I would look pretty guilty. But I have grown, learned about life, and if anything passed up more aggressive women in my life than the other way around. I'm not proud of that night, but she wasn't traumatized I'm not a rapist. Unlike a few democrat politicians we know about.

Which means she’s on her way out as a professor and needs a new high paying job at a well funded democrat think tank.

This also stymies the university administration from pushing her out as she can claim she’s being punished for being a victim and speaking out.

I know there are good psychologists who accomplish wonderful remedies for their clients and patients. I have personal experiences with some friends who after their consultations with a psychologist have ruined lives - fictionalization experiences that put them in conditions of anger, guilt, hate, revenge. Years later these formerly nice, normal people, too often young women, are hateful, man-fearing wrecks.

But too many these days are charlatans who look upon their profession as a way to control and manipulate others.

Thanks for your update. It seems she is another academic who has no real world experience.

They can ask all they want. It does not mean that the answers are factual. You can be sure the more people they ask the more people will remember being there. The power of suggestion is very strong.

How the questions are worded have great bearing on the response. People want to give the “right” answer and earn approval from the questioner. Often they do not realize they are lead into giving the answer desired. Think, “Do you remember going to a party where Brett Kavanaugh was present?” vs. “Many of those we contacted remember a party where a sexual assault took place. They say that Brett Kavanaugh was probably there. Does that seem correct to you”? The first requires a simple yes or no. The second requires you accepting a scenario in your mind and deciding if it is plausible.

It is worded so you put together the two allegations; the sexual assault and Kavanaugh probably being there. Once that happens the questions will assume Kavanaugh committed the assault. This is not done by chance. In very little time the person being questioned will remember knowing about the assault. And that’s that.

Now a deposition would be another matter.

Great point..If you were completely “ derailed “ , How did you manage to get multiple degrees in multiple schools ? Become successful ? I think she tripped herself up by doing interviews..FBI Has been doing extensive background reports on Kavanaugh since 1993, talking to neighbors, schools, classmates, yet not even a whisper until now. I expect her to be exposed by other real classmates.

She’s forgotten a lot about that night but she conveniently remembers she only had one beer.

Anybody who throws in the towel over this high school allegation is the same coward or phony republican as jeff flake. Free Republic seems to be infiltrated with liberals trying to steer doubt on every topic, very obvious to most of us. Dems are Filthy ..but they stick together...

.. “According to The Washington Post, Ford acted on the advice of her lawyer, Debra Katz, and took a polygraph test administered by an FBI agent in July.”

An attorney and a polygraph by the FBI In July? The FBI was aware of this in July? So why is Feinstein saying she just turned it over to them last week?

Did it detail your life? Did it make it impossible for you to have good relationships?

I just read the letter and she indeed called it a gathering comprised of herself and 4 others and the four others were all male.

So she was the kind of girl who went to parties at unknown houses solo, but can’t remember how she got there either?

But she remembers the names of all four young men perfectly and thinks it was 1982.

I think she fabricated it entirely. She was a couple years behind him, went to a sister school, had a huge crush on him, and fantasized about him taking her while she got off.

P.S. A competent prosecutor would take her apart on this fact alone.

Unless they were breaking into random homes to party it would’ve had to have been the home of one of the other 4 persons at the party, wouldn’t it?

Not knowing the year is a big deal to me. Each year of high school was distinctly important and different. Those memories are seared into your life.
