Not too mention the fact that many of the Republican base are getting mighty pissed off by the lying deceitful tactics of the hypocritical democRAT party. We have to remember them in November.

I try to keep in mind that a judge’s judgment is revealed in their judicial writings. When Souter was nominated, he was an unknown, and we know how he ended up ruling.
I would rather see a clear record of lawful and reasonable interpretation - even when I disagree with some of the rulings - to determine if the judge is fit to serve. Stealth Justices are anathema to me.

They will literally do ANYTHING to keep the SC from tilting to the right and overturning decades of judicial legislation. And I mean ANYTHING. If Trump nominates a man, they will trot out someone who claims the nominee molested them as a child. They will threaten to murder his/her family. They will sabotage his/her credit, put fake liens on their accounts.
Nothing is beneath them.
True, but the next opening might not come until Trump’s second term. Trump’s base wants Barrett, they want a win in the culture wars. Barrett would unit the right against the progressive Marxists like no other SC nominee. Plus she is an attractive woman and mother of seven. Terrible optics if the Rats try to take her down. The only question is does she want the job and is she willing to go thru the “process”?

I believe that Trump has a very competent list of Supreme Court judges that he has been building since Nov 2016 election.
Is there any way he can use another name right now, and bring Kavanaugh back later? Altho it might be more fun to APPOINT Kavanaugh to a job that doesn’t require Congressional approval.
How about a Voting Fraud Czar....clean up all the voter rolls in every state.

The trick of rolling out a female accuser at the last minute is now 0 for 2. If they try it again on Ginsberg’s replacement, the dems are going to shoot their own foot off.
They will be screaming all over the media for a ‘like’ replacement.
They will claim that it is only fair to get someone as liberal as Ginsberg, especially if Kavanaugh gets confirmed. Then, they will claim Trump has already had 2 of HIS own, so he needs to give the Dems one.
