FULL TITLE: 'Give me a chance to put hands on him': Moment Boston Red Sox fan tries to get to his dying brother after he climbed on top of a MOVING train to 'surf it' and was electrocuted by 12,000 volts
A Boston Red Sox fan died after he climbed outside of a moving train and was electrocuted by 12,000 bolts on his way home from a game on Wednesday.
Michael Vigeant, 24, passed away just one hour after his team lost a game against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium .
A video shows the scene inside the train travelling from New York to Connecticut, packed with baseball fans, after the victim was pulled back to safety and witnesses performed CPR.
According to a witness, Vigeant tried to climb a ladder to the roof of the train but slipped between the carriages.
The train conductor is being praised for stopping the victim's brother from doing the same thing.

My God - what a shock!
He got the Zot?
Nope; train deaths far too common. Besides, for a train death to qualify, it would have to show an exceptionally bad lapse of judgment (what the Darwin Awards website calls “excellence”).
And volts, being electric potential, cannot electrocute, so current of whatever amperage flowing through him due to a path through him to the ground (the train being part of the circuit) is what killed him. Birds land on wires of that voltage and higher all the time, but current does not flow unless there’s a path for current to reach the ground. Minimum killing current is 100 milliamps flowing across the heart, but this can vary.

If I remember my physics, its not the volts. Its the amps.
Here we had an abundance of both.
Here's the man of 12,000 bolts...
Perhaps the Metro Police barred the brother from ‘saving him’ bc they were thinking of his MOTHER, who would have then lost two sons.
The overhead catenary wire on the Northeast Corridor is AC, not DC. A 12 kilovolt AC jolt can fry a human.
heh heh heh heh...
BREAKING:
In an unrelated event, Senator Grassley has changed the venue for Christine “Pasty Blasey” Ford’s testimony performance.
The testimony performance will now take place this coming Thursday on the observation deck of the New Haven commuter train. The train is being sent over to CA since Christine does not appear to like flying.
