I want to excerpt a portion of this NY Times story. It looks like the new accusations against Judge Kavanaugh are already falling apart.
The Times had interviewed several dozen people over the past week in an attempt to corroborate her story, and could find no one with firsthand knowledge. Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself.

Probable media spins based on various outcomes:
Ford sticks to story, “accuser unshakeable in face of fierce pressure from male Senators.”
Ford retracts story, says she just doesn’t know, “Ford forced to withdraw allegations but could still be true.”
Ford channels unknown dark spirits and prophesies end of days, “women take resistance to new heights under relentless male pressure.”
Ford goes nuts and dances around Senate hearing room in bra and panties, “Ford relives nightmare of youthful sexual assaults, gives graphic display, but male Senators unmoved.”
Ford reveals that she had Kavanaugh mixed up with Senator Al Franken, “Ford testimony moved to closed session, insiders say nothing of substance, but new accusations surface from Minnesota (Maryland, Massachusetts, Myanmar) former student at prep school.”
You left out Ford forced to spend weekend in Kennedy compound with Keith Ellison.
Why is it that it’s just one story falling apart? They are equally devoid of factual evidence and should both be ignored.
So this implies that after a week of the NYT striving hard but failing to verify one iota of a story whose credibility stunk to high heaven - thus ultimately sitting on it without publishing it, Ramirez and her handlers next shopped the story to the New Yorker magazine, who had no qualms in immediately publishing the story 100% completely UNvetted & UNcorroborated.
Here are two paragraphs where they talk about their own treatment of this story vs the New Yorker's:
"In a statement, Judge Kavanaugh denied the allegation from the woman, Deborah Ramirez, and called it “a smear, plain and simple.” The New Yorker did not confirm with other eyewitnesses that Judge Kavanaugh was at the party.

The most incredible thing about this story is that the NYT actually did something right for once. Say it ain't so, Joe! This will put in jeopardy their monthly check from the Soros Machine.
Nothing sad about a false allegation, only to DOLTS.
I never cared about the Justice Thomas nonsense.
Thomas has served well, and Kavanaugh shall also.

These women need to be arrested, tried, prosecuted and sent to prison for false accusations.
I wish every Freeper would understand that these people didn't just crawl out of the woodwork in the last 48 hours. These media outlets have been working on these stories for weeks -- even months. Most of them wouldn't even run the story, it was so full of holes. But the story would have been released THE NIGHT BEFORE A SENATE VOTE no matter what Grassley did.
Democrats are LAW-LESS because Republicans are BALL-LESS!!

These people better pray to God that Kavanaugh IS confirmed because a sitting member of SCOTUS would never file the libel and/or slander suits that the conspirators have got coming.
