You are wrong. Grassley initially offered a phone cross examination of the two parties(Ford and Kavanaugh) last Monday, with the vote taking place as scheduled on Thursday. That’s it. It’s a take it or leave it. He should have stuck to it and we wouldn’t be in this ugly mess.
Since then he has drown red lines in the sand , only to back down no less than ten times. Grassley makes Obama look like a lion over his backing down on his “red lines” in Syria.
For his own good Grassley needs to resign at his once. He has neither a pair of functioning testicles nor a backbone.

The state of journalism in 2018 has fallen from not reporting uncorroborated stories to reporting the lack of corroboration as just another fact about the "story."

In other words, the "paper of record" now reports rumors, hearsay, and innuendo as fact.

Grassley initially offered a phone cross examination of the two parties (Ford and Kavanaugh) last Monday, with the vote taking place as scheduled on Thursday. That’s it. It’s a take it or leave it.

Please cite a reference for this statement. My understanding was that Grassley offered to secure a statement from Ford in person or by phone (and remember, the term statement has a very specific legal context here). Ford's lawyers refused and presented a list of ludicrous demands.

Kavanaugh has been the one demanding to testify in person, in public, at any time.

Grassley hasn't conceded anything of substance in this charade. This would have been a disaster if Grassley had played hardball and scheduled a vote. These allegations aren't being made the day they're presented in the media. They're hatched weeks in advance, for the specific purpose of releasing them the night before a scheduled vote.

How many Republicans on that committee would cast a vote in favor of Kavanaugh if the most recent allegations had been posted the night before?

Sad in the sense that there are assclowns that will buy this pile of crap lock stock and barrel. Barrel of booze apparently to someone. I guess the old “Stick and stones...” rhyme will never be brought out of retirement. Have an awesome week.

Please cite a reference for this statement.

Monday, September 17, 2018:

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley issued the following statement:

Anyone who comes forward as Dr. Ford has deserves to be heard, so I will continue working on a way to hear her out in an appropriate, precedented and respectful manner.

The standard procedure for updates to any nominee’s background investigation file is to conduct separate follow-up calls with relevant parties. In this case, that would entail phone calls with at least Judge Kavanaugh and Dr. Ford. Consistent with that practice, I asked Senator Feinstein’s office yesterday to join me in scheduling these follow-ups. Thus far, they have refused. But as a necessary step in evaluating these claims, I’ll continue working to set them up.

Grassley hasn't conceded anything of substance in this charade.

Grassley has repeatedly caved in and backed down to increasingly crazy demands from the skank and her indeterminate gender lawyer. He has drawn red lines only to let Katz blithely cross them with impunity.
Read the timeline from Breitbart.here:

It’s enough to make your head spin. It just does on and on n and on and on. And that timeline stops on only Friday, September 21, 2018. It doesn’t even include all the drama from Balsey Ford since then

"Michael Avenatti claims he has one. Of course no case would be complete without that fame whore sticking his head in."

Can you imagine him and Chuck Schumer in the same room with a camera? Hopefully they'd knock each other out trying to get in front of it.

Under 18 U.S.C § 1001, letters to the Judiciary Committee are subject to criminal penalty if false.

Kavanaugh should sue them for slander and defamation.

Female blogger is ordered to pay US Army colonel she accused of rape $8.4million in damages after he claimed the false allegations cost him a sparkling military career

Senators need to have Blasey Ford and Martinez testify under oath like Kavanaugh already has with penalty of felony perjury and lying to Congress and 5 years of imprisonment.

Grassley is agreeing to delays because he wants it withdrawn. Once the accusations made it go wobbly with the three rinos, he saw withdrawal as the easiest way out.

Some admin changed it. It used to say “Rameriz story is falling apart”, which is not something the Times would feature. The poster was playing fast and loose with the headline. Such a practice eliminates the ability to avoid duplicate posts, which is probably why an admin fixed it.

And right now it’s a battle for all of us.
