My wife had a good friend who had similar requirements for her wedding ring and was overall a diva brat. She got everything she wanted and the friend’s fiance was a great guy.

Between his friends telling him the truth about his soon-to-be bride and her family demanding that he become a part of the family business, he saw the light and broke it off before the wedding...she kept the ring, though.

13 years later he’s married with kids and she’s still single. But...she got that ring!

A friend of mine married a guy who had given her a ring that he had got back from a previous fiancée-—and it had the old fiancées initials in it.

The marriage lasted 55 years, until his death.

Rings just don’t matter.

All rings should start off modest. You can upgrade as the years go by. That’s what I did.
