Funny,
Would “Attraction” to form a star
be contrary to centrifugal force?

There seems to be a concerted effort to portray scientists as a bunch of bumbling fools who just can’t seem to get their theories straight.

I'm smart enough to realize that ‘science’ in its various incarnations gave me the electronic device I'm typing this on, and the miraculous infrastructure that connects it to the outside world. I'm also smart enough not to let a pop-sci story on slight discrepancies in planetary accretion calculations make me throw the baby out with the bathwater. Politics corrupted science, always has, not the other way around.

When you deny God, and then try and figure out how the universe and life created itself, you come across as looking foolish. Professing themselves to be wise, they became wise. Romans 1:22. worshipped and served the creature morethan the Creator. Romans 1:25

Where did the dust come from?
Reminds me of an old joke about God and the devil and growing a tree. When the devil asked for some dirt, God said, make your own. /Game over.

Thanks ETL for the topic, fmdj for the ping. Science is a method, not a body of knowledge, and as Thomas Aquinas pointed out, it is the method for studying the physical world. This is additional information which concurs with previous studies, and the information wasn't available more than a century ago, much less thousands of years ago.
