Wheres Laz on this. ??
I too was disappointed to see how clear her thinking seemed to be despite her slow, deliberate pace.
She is 85. Seventeen years from now, in 2035, some of us may be treated to the scene of a 102-year-old Ginsburg, still on the Court and indistinguishable from Stephen Hawking in his last days. I very much doubt that I will be around to see it.
Interesting choice, but I would love to see the talking heads explode if Trump could find a Black conservative woman jurist or better still an Asian woman jurist to nominate.
Amy has already been voted on by the Committee and the Full Senate where she got 55 votes in a very hostile hearing/environment.
Trump wants to burn the house down with this next nominee who is a flat out conservative.
She’s golden and is bullet proof. The Stalinists are gonna lose their ever loving minds when she’s voted on to the court.
>RBG?
I thought that she might be a robot.
One of those old retired sex robots.<
Right, Right Way! Overworked, under powered, ugly, and put away wet and to get so rusty it will leave stains if/when a desperate high schooler finds it on the back porch of John Podesta’s pizza parlor.
I’ll bet you thought that was VERY funny——it wasn’t.

Our family was different.
The eldest was my eldest son, who at the age of 15 was managing a full service restaurant and going to high school, while the owner was stuck in Athens due to some immigration dispute.
No one in his staff was older than 17.
Fortunately the owner had left a checkbook with 200 signed checks in his office. (he must have suspected that his stay in his birth country would be prolonged)
My son is presently a building contractor, specializing in building and maintaining restaurants, which he has been doing for the last 24 years.

Nope only Catholics need apply. LOL - Just Kidding.
“Pelosi is a Catholic”
________________________________
bray, I realize you’re probably a fan of Sen Pelosi. However, you’ll notice I didn’t have her in the very short list of peoples I trust at this moment.
You may find Sen Pelosi being a Catholic a plus. Unfortunately, as a strong believer in the homicide of pre-delivered children, she’s not walking that part of the walk for a Catholic.
Neither is she on the Supreme Court.
At this time, and unless she were to experience a ‘come to Jesus’ epiphany, and turn from her ways and in a most public manner, she’s not someone I would look up to in manner for guidance for anything.
Who is “Sen Pelosi”? Nancy Pelosi is a member of the House of Representatives. Her “title” is Congresswoman.
mad_ashe$$
LOL I looked at that before I hit the Post button and it didn’t look right. Deleted Senator and typed Sen and it still didn’t look right. LOL
And that explains why it didn’t look right!
I guess it’s like, ‘right church, wrong pew.’
She’s still not anyone I would look up for any type of guidance.
And, I truly thank you, mad_as_he$$ for pointing it out!
I DEMAND a FBI Investigation. Paging Dianne Feinstein, and her 25 year on the payroll Chi-com spy.
I’d wager Trump has some good female jurists in line to replace the female Justices that may leave...hard to attack him and remain credible by claiming it’s a political ploy after howling so loud about not having enough women in high places...
Religious Conservative....bad, heck religious is bad enough
Pro-Life....very bad
Constitutionalist.... Bad
Married... Bad example.. More white children..bad
Adopted Black kids...Bad..counter to their culture
Special needs child.... Neutral
I don’t even want to imagine what they’ll accuse her of in her youth.
“I can remember my mom talking about how the non-Catholics just swore that JFK would follow the Popes instructions.”
I am old enough to have heard that myself, not via stories told by Mom. That’s not where I’m coming from. With so many friends who are Catholic and Jewish, I see that they are less pro-life than the evangelicals I know.
My Catholic friends talk the pro-life talk, but donate tons of money to “Emily’s List” and volunteer for Planned Parenthood. I think if/when Roe v. Wade is overturned it will not be by Catholics or Jews. Even though they say they’re pro-life, they also say that they’re OK with “settled law” (and it appears they are), and won’t rock that boat. When something is wrong and evil, you don’t just shrug your shoulders and say, “No big deal; it’s settled law, so I won’t mess with it.” No; people are dying and it needs to be stopped.
The people who came here in the 1600s, and rose up in the 1700s, were of sterner stuff. They were bold beyond measure. They’re the kind of people who will stand tough to make changes. And they’re more likely to be Originalists when it comes to the Constitution, as people whose blood runs through their veins created it, with God’s help.
In CA, I made Jewish friends, some who remain friends today. (One of my favorite tee shirts is “Chosen Chick”, given to me by a Jewish girlfriend.) They aren’t pro-life. Although I stand in solidarity with Israel as a nation, individually the ones I know don’t care about the unborn. At all.
I know ALL Jewish people and ALL Catholics don’t fit my narrative above, but to have a better mix of faiths makes sense to me. How terrible would that be?
IF (big IF) she is nominated, and confirmed, and appointed, the leftists would be slicing their wrists and self-immollating.
Already there are lotsa memes on this one.
It would get FUGLY quickly.
“Who takes care of the children?”
Not an issue, Judges have large salaries.
“There’s no Indians... oops, Native Americans on the Court, either, and never have been, not one.”
It’s about time, then, for a conservative American Indian to be there. I think the only one who’s a lawyer and very involved is Whitehouse, and we don’t want HIM!! Maybe the day will come...
She forgot to take them off after putting Hansel and Gretel in the oven...
AMEN!
DITTOS!
