Thanks, everyone.
Think I’m going with World and Limbaugh.

Its tough dealing with close minded liberals. Reagan remarked that The trouble with our Liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so. Getting him to even look at a conservative magazine even if you got him a subscription would probably prove to be difficult. Rather than doing that, maybe try some other tactics. What you need is to make him think. Put him on the hot seat where he has to justify his positions and how he knows what he says is true. Make him prove his case. Ask him lots of questions. Why do you believe that? How do you know that? You can choose to respond or not respond. But make him do the work. But when you do respond, remember, most liberals are not deep thinkers. Bumper sticker slogans inform their thoughts. Thats why coming back at him with some brief responses is wise. Some suggestions for you: go to Pinterest and start collecting some pithy political thoughts. Read some books such as Conservative Comebacks to Liberal Lies: Issue by Issue Responses to the Most Common Claims of the Left from A to Z. Also, start watching some of the #Walkaway movement videos on YouTube. Note the things that woke people up from the leftist ideology. Maybe, you can show him a video or two and ask him what he thinks. Also check out the Candace Owens videos. Redpillblack. And pray for his soul. Being on the left is a world view. It is hard to puncture that bubble. But once it is punctured, he make truly awaken. Hang in there!

That doesn’t work with him. He won’t answer a straight question. He immediately goes into whine mode to protect TIME’s opinion at all costs, sticks his fingers in his ears and begs to change the subject to something more pleasant like cats. Can’t even have a two way conversation on local happenings that aren’t political. I’ve had to deal with this for decades.

Well then, it is totally hopeless isnt it. When he goes into his rants, cut him off and tell him you are not interested. Tell him that you refuse to discuss politics. And then talk about cats. If he continues just leave.

The Economist is garbage! Totally anti-Trump. It’s a British publication, but they sure think they know it all when they report on US News.

I’m not sure one exists. I think there are publications that tend to be centrist. But pure “this is what happened” I don’t believe exists.

Someone in an earlier reply suggested the Economist. It isnt’ too bad.

Editorializing news seems to have ebbed and flowed over the years. Some of the stuff at the beginning of our country makes today’s news seem almost tame.
To: joesbucks
You know of something like that? I’ve never seen it. Can you share more? Almost every MSM publication is left wing...

I was going to post Guns and Ammo, but American Rifleman could work. The obvious benefit of Rifleman is the NRA membership, but I will say Guns and Ammo felt more fun, whereas AR is more technical and plain.
I’d do a G&A to hook him on guns and let him become the NRA member.
