Another tactic. Send him Revolution or The Daily Worker, both clearly identified Communist propaganda rags.

Let him look for the Communist talking points in all of the media he sees on tv.

He would also see the photos of Communists at protests and riots that never appear in the MSM coverage (but are also covered in the conservative blogger photo coverage).

Chronicles is great for you, your neighbor needs a gentler and kinder conservatism.

If Evangelical christian World is a good option

NR is not a great magazine but it will introduce ideas slowly

Investors Business Daily is great if they are money minded.

the economist is a leftist rag.

Human events is on line.

Mark Steyn might be an intro to conservatism.

World is expensive: $60 per year. Really good, though, received some as samples.

Q magazine. It’s not what you think.

Not a magazine, technically, but I rather enjoy Hillsdale College’s “Imprimis”.

And along those lines, Roger Kimball’s The New Criterion.

Did he ask for your Input? Did he say “You have intriguing ideas that seem to make sense. Can you tell me more?”

If he didn’t, save your money. He will just toss whatever “gift” you buy for him into the trash. You have as much chance changing his mind as he has of changing yours.

You’d be better off sending a donation to a conservative candidate who is in a tough race somewhere.

Objective reporting of facts is a thing of the past.

Newspapers always knew they had the power to shape events and they did but it was far less overt.

Now news outlets are appealing to demographics and they believe 'liberal' is the dominant political view (or should be).

Excellent choice. I also like The Limbaugh Letter (16 entertaining pages and an interview each month). About $16 a year for 12 issues.

I used to subscribe to the Washington Times. It is a newspaper but only came once a week.

Imprimis doesn’t look like they have a snail mail subscription. Do they?

I agree. For important news, up to the minute, there is nothing like FreeRepublic. If I wake up in the middle of the night, I have to check the latest articles.

Everything else is old news an hour after it’s published.

Thank you, Jim Robinson.

Better yet, print out articles from The People’s Cube. The people’s cube.com.

I’ve printed out pages of this and that over the years but they go straight into the garbage. I know buying a subscription will probably be a waste of money but doing it anonymously might at least crack the spine open.

Honestly, it’s for my own sanity.

I’d be all over a snail mail FR magazine. This guy doesn’t believe in computers. Or tv.

"I subscribe to World."

So do we.
Had to let my National Review sub run out - just couldn't stomach the smarmy never-trump stuff anymore (and has there ever been a writer more full of himself than Kevin Williamson?)
American Rifleman is great for anything RKBA-related (only).
