Father: "I'm gonna chop you up and stack you like cordwood!"
Son: "Your ass is grass, old man!"
In Wisconsin, we drive our lawn mowers for everyday transportation...AFTER we’ve lost our Driver’s License. ;)
A man who is strong enough to wield a chainsaw cant outrun a lawnmower?
Probably one of those zero turn mowers...
It’s not easy! Beau’s parents sound like yours - they will NOT leave their (fairly isolated) farm, either, and in an emergency, none of us are really close enough to make a difference. It is what it is. As long as they don’t hurt anyone else, I guess it’s Live and Let Live.
With my Dad, FIRST I had to get him to stop drinking - which was easier once I took his car away! Then, I got ADRC involved, and we were assigned a Social Worker, and while she WAS like Nurse Ratchet, she got the job done. God Bless Her!
I just kept telling him; ‘We’re on a waiting list for this FABULOUS apartment for you!’ And when that finally happened, I just started moving his stuff OUT and got him in the car and told him we were going to the airport to fly to the gulf to catch a cruise. ;)
It totally tickled me in a sick sort of way, so of COURSE I had to share it with my FReepers, LOL!
‘Silence of the Limb’ LOL!
“Instead of rock, paper, scissors they took it to a new level. Chainsaw, Tree, Lawnmower.”
Brilliant! :)
Not in Florida? Wow...
See Post #63! :)
“Nerves of Stihl...”
Brilliant! :)

LOL! Freepers are the best! :)
My zero turn goes about 15 mph at top speed. It can pop its front wheels off the ground going from a stand still to full forward.
Lol. I have a lot of grass.
