I gave the first 15 minutes to Sinema based on a polished performance. However, as it went on, she was like a Barbie doll - too polished, too prepackaged, and nothing but repeated empty platitudes. “Tax cuts are hard!”
I dislike McSally from her military days, but she loosened up and provided a genuine contrast. In terms of policy, I obviously prefer McSally. But she also was more believable by the end.
The moderators were OK until they finished their questions with “What would you do about global warming?” McSally’s pissed response that we needed to be talking about the military, closing Luke AFB & Sinema’s Pink history probably upset the Democrat listeners, but I thought it made sense. Good moment for her, and it came at the very end.
Why do you dislike McSally from her military service?
Exactly. All she had was canned answers. Took her 6 minutes to answer how she would have voted on Kavanaugh! (No)
