Sinead O'Connor changes her name after converting to Islam

Sinead O'Connor has revealed she's changed her name after turning her back on Catholicism and converting to Islam.
The Irish singer, who was once ordained a priest by the Irish Orthodox and Apostolic Church, made the announcement on Twitter telling fans she was proud to have become a muslim.
Sinead, 51, will now be known as Shuhada' Davitt - with shuhada meaning 'martyrs' or 'witnesses' in Arabic.
In a post to fans she wrote: "This is to announce that I am proud to have become a Muslim. This is the natural conclusion of any intelligent theologian’s journey. All scripture study leads to Islam. Which makes all other scriptures redundant. I will be given (another) new name. It will be Shuhada."

She was f’d in the head the last time I thought about her (maybe 15 years ago, if not longer), and I see that nothing has changed.
...and, yes, the shaved head was my first tip-off. I cannot think of a good reason why a woman - especially a young woman - would shave her head short of having cancer or some scalp disease. Ditto for guys...though we have an additional allowance for losing stupid bets (nope, never happened to me).

She's just mentally ill and has been for years. She was a rastafarian for a few weeks - a lesbian for literally a day.
I saw her live in a bar in NYC and she was incredible. It was a brief window between bouts of crazy, where they got the medicine cocktail just right. She looked good physically and sang with terrific power.
