It's hard to understand all the verbal gender obfuscation which is used these days. But the story appears to be about a mentally ill girl, and her equally mentally disturbed mother, both of whom claim Kaysen is really a boy. Kaysen was born with a vagina and two X chromosomes. Nonetheless, Kaysen and her mental case mama claim she is really a male.

Im beginning to feel if someone wants to be a “transgender” man / woman let them and to heck with it. People who identify with the opposite gender have always existed. Of course he isn’t really a “girl” . The issue of parents encouraging this in young children is a different matter. Politicians (Obama) also inappropriately started cheerleading this as a new trend. IMHO a lot of the Democrat activist base is gay, etc way out of proportion to the general population. That’s what’s driving a lot of this.
