Not so much agree to and not so much “phase out”. The Merkel government just decided to and abruptly shut down all the nuclear power plants in the country.....which have zero carbon emissions which they claim they’re so concerned about.
So instead they’re now that much more dependent on Russian gas.....yet tell America (who they hate) that it has to pay for their defense against.....against.....wait for it.....Russia! Because they don’t want to pay for their own defense. Instead they want to shovel money at Russia.
They’re also totally committed Gaia Worshipers who routinely chastise those beastly Americans for pulling out of the Paris Agreement....while their emissions are going up and while they’re planning to bulldoze an ancient forest to make way for more coal mining. Meanwhile, America’s emissions are going down, yes down thanks to frakking and shifting over from burning coal to burning natural gas.
Oh but they’re oh so moral and more civilized and righteous about everything. Just ask them.
