Stupid question.
Keep trying. It’s not alternate universes. It’s not the “multiverse.” It’s not matter popping in and out of existence. It’s not a simulation in some colossal video game. It’s not “something from nothing.” What do you think it could be?

Whenever a headline asks a question,
the answer is usually, “No.”

They are bothersome, but not on a universe disrupting level.

In the beginning God...
Begin with that premise and one will have the beginning of wisdom. Then, one can ask, “How does it work?” and get the right answer. Until then, now matter how well written, it’s all speculation. God said he would show us wonders in the sky, so expecting guidance toward the truth, can be reasonably expected.

Evolution is not a science because it can not be duplicated in the labs. You are correct—it is speculation—it is a theory. Granted, the same thing can be said about Creation, but faith in the God of Creation is really all believers need to know that it is true. “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Colossians 1:17).
Jesus Christ is the God of creation.

I call it a poly-hypothesis.

I’ll stick with mono-hypothesis, even though the word does not exist.
“By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth” (Psalms 33:6).
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (Hebrews 11:3).
