Brother lives in Northern Florida.....your temps sound like what he’s been sharing recently.....said he can be running air during the day and flip to heat.

Very nice!

I met a couple of my new neighbors that morning after I rolled out the snow blower at 3:30 AM to get my vehicle unstuck and into the garage!

100 got there,100 didn’t,and neither did the orchestra.

All flowers that we were carrying died before we got to the reception,so we just tossed them.

Memorable,to say the least.

Having been a Bridal consultant in the past I am well acquainted with all that can and does happen at and surrounding the wedding day. It’s the stories such as yours ,that are the stories outside of the “ordinary’ and often mundane, that create the best memories!

“that are the stories outside of the “ordinary’ and often mundane, that create the best memories!”

Odd that you say that——for YEARS people talked about stories related to that wedding day, some of them quite humorous.

Yep.....I’m not surprised. It’s always the unexpected that folks recall. The same with photos. You are always better off with a floating photographer ‘who knows how’ to catch “Un-posed” moments.....

Nailed it!

I remember when business took me to San Jose/Santa Clara a couple times a year.

When the temps would get down to 60 degrees at night, the locals would be sporting their hooded down parkas.

I used to say “We’d be out in our shorts and tank tops hand washing our cars in this weather.”

I remember being in Houston once, and seeing a weatherman literally panicking as the temperature was supposed to briefly dip to the upper 20s overnight. He said, "For God's sake, if you love your pets, bring them inside!"

(I was thinking, what does he think God gave them fur for?)

They left out the northeast.

In one town I lived in, they did not even break out the plows until there was at least 6 inches on the ground. You just drove through it.

And yes, it took 2-3 feet for a snow day, depending on what time frame it fell in.
