If this weren’t so high profile, there’d be buses. The optics of large quantities of ‘migrants’ loading up in buses to be whisked up to the border doesn’t help the cause.

Sorry, no sympathy. They’ve been offered “asylum” by Mexico, including some free stuff. They don’t want that. They are invading us for our (democrat) welfare policy. I’d be fine if the military guns down those that force there way in.
This same commercial was posted on Honduras' Channel 6 Facebook page with mixed results. Most comments supported the caravans, but the best comment was: "They will run smack into reality once they reach the Mexican-US border."

Mexico knows that the US will close the border as these Caravans approach. They do not want that to happen. They have too much stake in maintaining business-as-usual.
