President Donald Trump attacked Democrats in one corner of Florida on Saturday, while Margaritaville king Jimmy Buffett took musical shots at him and Gov. Rick Scott in another as the state’s tight Senate and gubernatorial races reached the final weekend of campaigning.

it takes "entertainers" to draw a crowd to support Demon Rats....the hypocrites who will be insulated from the onerous regulations they want foisted on everyone else.

Here is a picture of ONE of Jimmy Buffet's houses:

I know SO many older Democrats like the outline I just put forward there. They’re not into politics to the extent that they care to look into what the mainstream media is telling them, and certainly have no concept they’ve been being lied to for years.

They just buy the propaganda and surf merrily along.

That was my disappointed reaction when I first heard Willie Nelson doing this new song in support of "Dead-o Beto" over Ted Cruz in Texas:   "Vote 'Em Out".

David Allan Coe had Jimmy Buffett’s number all the way back in 1979: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnTO7rTf2cM

(NSFW but pretty funny)

What do they think will change if the Rats win the House? Do they think it will give them a Veto Proof Majority?

POTUS Trump will have no problem using the Veto Pen and he won’t blink when the Rats threaten to close down the Federal Government to get their way.

No way they win back the Senate.

Like so many older Democrats, Willie’s head is still in the 70s when he railed against Republicans and authority figures of any kind who wouldn’t let him smoke pot whenever he wanted.

That is a HUGE reason so many Americans — especially older Americans — have such a hate on for conservatives.

I went to high school in the ‘70s. I have friends who still hate all cops, all the time, just because they got busted for pot when they were teenagers.

It’s still a huge mindset for a LOT of people.

Jimmy Buffet’s songs about smuggling drugs loose some of their humor when you consider the 72,000 opioid caused deaths in the USA last year.

Or he would have stepped on a pop-top and died of tetanus.

Lived here in Florida for 28 years and know no one who likes Jimmy Buffett. In fact most hate him and sick of it being played everywhere.

Well, he was born in Mississippi and raised in Alabama so why should Florida have an affinity for him?

As I said, I’m a big Buffet fan. You’ll never see a better or more fun concert than the shows he and the Coral Reefers put on year after year. He broadcasts every single one on his radio margaritaville.com — which by the way is a fantastic online live radio station. That’s where I discovered the Zac Brown Band, which Jimmy promoted pretty heavily when they were emerging.

As with many artists, there is no reason for him to get political. There is something to be said for just helping people have a great time.

watching the “revolutionaries” of the music industry side with the Deep State has provided lots of laughs since Trump became President.

He's the favorite singer of drunks. That's what has sustained his career.

Guess I’ll mark him off my list and delete links to his music. Don’t care to hear his music anymore.

I’ve been a fan of his music. True, he’s not much of a singer but he’s a great storyteller, kind of like Willie Nelson in the pic above. I’ve seen him a few times at JazzFest in New Orleans where you can get in for a lot less $$$ than tickets to his normal concerts.

He’s from my home state of Mississippi so that does bring some affinity. My father in law likes to tell a story of meeting him at the Holiday Inn lounge in Jackson, MS, back in the 70’s when he was playing there before anyone had ever heard of him. I look him just like most of the hollywood stars, they’re for entertainment but I don’t look to them for guidance in political matters because they’re clueless privileged morons. In Buffett’s case he’s a 60’s-70’s era hippie dopehead that’s never had a real job in his life. Ironically his hatred of wholesome American values is in contrast to the fact that a marginally talented singer could become worth a half billion dollars by writing tunes about being a slacker. See if you can do that anywhere other than America.

So I’ll still listen to his music when it comes on the radio but shake my head at his politics. Most entertainers are airheads and have no clue about life in real America and what matters to real Americans. I let them entertain me but tune out their political screeching. I liked looking at Alyssa Milano’s boobies which she used to show quite frequently. Just keep everything in context and realize that having nice boobs or singing about tropical lifestyles doesn’t make you an expert on anything other than maybe boobs and beaches.
