RE: early arrival (to anything = and seating).

I agree with you fully. For special things I get to event early for preferred seat. It irks me to no end that those that arrive at 5 minutes prior to 5 minutes after desire that you give up your seat to a way back in netherlnds to accommodate their large late group.

I have found this at church events, concerts, political events and my biggest IRK at movie marathons.

at one time I would acquiesce = now no. EYE TO EYE. First come First Serve
