We are a rare bunch. We understand the magnificent horse. The old way of getting on and kicking to go and pulling to stop is still out there but thankfully for horses, more people are practicing natural horsemanship. Better for people and horses.

Isn’t it cool that we can go anywhere in the world and may not be able to talk to people but we can go up to any horse and communicate with them.

You can see the horse relax when he knows that you are a human who understands him. They appreciate a person who will not resort to big bits and big spurs and force, but will take the easier road to working with their nature. An animal that feels a fly land on it does not need force from a human. They are so sensitive.

I miss working with them and interacting and observing their behavior.

I loved to watch them mutually groom each other. The crossing over of their necks , gentle nibbling or using teeth to carefully scratch on the withers. So beautiful and tender to see.

My favorite Scripture on horses is Job 39:19-20

Hast thou given the horse strength? Has thou clothed his neck in thunder?
Canst thou make him afraid of a grasshopper?

My black horse was big and powerful. His neck did seem clothed in thunder. Many a night I threw my arms around his neck or buried my face in his mane and cried and he comforted me with his strength. I always told him with us it was “til death do us part”. My once in a lifetime horse. My best friend.

Here’s one: A mule is like a horse, only more so.

Never had a mule but they’re very smart and have some kind of self confidence or something, and have to be handled differently because of it. They will refuse to do stuff if you don’t ask right or you ask something stupid of them. I’ve heard they will take on a cougar. Brave smart animals.

Exactly. As a mature believer I came to know that I needed adult baptism for several reasons . One being that the Holy Spirit had it on my heart to do this for the last year. By devine “coincidence “ ( not really) we have been studying baptism in my Scripture study for several weeks. I was scheduled for this service tonight for a few months. As I’ve been learning, Jesus did not baptize infants, he blessed them. I needed to be baptized as an adult. It’s part of my obedience to God.

Forgot to add that horses like to be rubbed rather than patted. They say to take your hand and rub the horse “ with your heart”. One of many natural horsemanship sayings.

One never stops learning from horses. Had them since I was 10 now I’m 56. Had a 20 year lapse after high school, and then really learned about them through Parelli Natural Horsemanship and several other natural horsemanship teachers. There are videos on YouTube. Just search Parelli and amazing videos should come up.

I hope that someone will propose voting reforms. We need Voter ID, because the Socialists are trying to steal the election. I doubt it would pass, but we need to fix our election or we’ll lose our REPUBLIC...

Also wrote that Voter ID would the death of the D party, and that fraud we are seeing was expected, and by extension, planned for. Explains Trump’s no nonsense tweets about it and dispatch of GOP lawyers to FL and AZ.

A push for Voter ID is needed—it needs to become law.
