Somehow the camera feed did not show that President Trump sat, waiting his turn, and then stood in the pouring rain to give the speech at the American Cemetery. You could not see or hear the rain except that it was dripping down the front of the Presidential seal, as if the drips were tears. Near the end of the time, as PDJT was shaking a few hands as he was leaving, you could hear the rain beating down hard on something near the microphone. C-Span,on my TV, had cut the feed, but I also had it on a youtube on my tablet which stayed ontil he departed.

When Macron walked out into a light rain to greet PDJT, he had no umbrella. Someone walked to Trump as soon as he was out of his limo. That person held an umbrella over Trump for the 20 feet or so until they were under cover of the building. It looked ridiculous. I did not like it and said something on a thread for which i got pooh-poo'd. The French knew the weather forecast. I put nothing past them. Maybe it was Secret Service.

The Republican Party needs to get its act together to avoid bruising primary races in 2020. Supporters of the loser know many things about the primary winner that make them not want to vote for them in the general.

Did we even keep McSally's seat in the House?

Maybe Americans will learn what the First Amendment is really about during this ridiculous lawsuit by CNN. President Trump is pretty good at using the teachable moment.

Why can’t CNN just send a different reporter? My understanding is that Jim Acosta was banned, not CNN.

Remember me reporting here that I wrote the White House and asked them to please watch her comments.
I said her comment that our military wasn't going to shoot the invaters really upset me as an American but most importantly related to a nephew serving in the service. She should not have signaled our intentions. She does not speak for our President as we all know from his rallies...he will never tell his plan ahead of time making our enemy uncertain as to his intent. This gives our great President the upper hand in all his battles and makes him a winner. Its why we love and back him.

So people agree with Trump on immigration. More blacks support Trump - over the magical 10% figure. More Latinos support Trump. But we lost a boatload of House seats and only gained a few Senate seats?

Is it true that Trump’s immigration policy is causing voters to leave the GOP?

Here’s CNN’s exit polls on whether voters agree or disagree with Trump on immigration- from 4 states that “shifted blue”.

AZ- 58-35% agree
GA- 60-35% agree
TX- 65-30% agree
FL- 61-34% agree

No, we lost AZ. McSally didn’t really fight, Rush just now saying they let people “early” vote like Friday and Sat or some such thing.

I think the GOP establishment lost AZ. Ducey appointed McSally instead of Dr. Kelli Ward then Sheriff Joe jumped in the race. Don’t know why Sheriff Joe did it but that’s what defeated Dr. Wad who had double-digit leads over Flake and drove him out of the race.

Establishment more the enemy than Dems because it’s the enemy within.

The Republican Party establishment needs to be ejected from the Republican Party. The GOPe has allegiance only to the DC UniParty, and not to America.

As long as the GOPe is involved, loser candidates will be pushed on the party!

I so understand about a Coke run. Its as the people who make runs for coffee. I can't seem to function without Coke. It started when I worked second and third shifts. Mine wasn't for Coke today. Take care. I had to also make a run and now trying to catch up.

DHS Kirstjen Nielson on her way out, being reported.

As I've said before, they should have moved Sessions over to DHS & turned him loose on illegal immigration.

Our biggest city here is about 50000. Whenever I go to something bigger I can’t stand the traffic. I don’t know how I ever stood in the first place, but I never liked it. So I hear you! I would miss the sourdough bread as well :-)

Now they are talking on another channel that Kelly may depart White House soon.

They have been talking since day 1 about one person or another leaving. They go around the room from one person to the next & then start over again. Heck, they even started out saying Trump didn't want the job & would quit half-way through. It is their juvenile grade-school game they play of trying to create chaos & paranoia. Trying to make up the news rather than report the fact.

Tks Jessi. Great breakfast as usual. I jumped out of my chair and made a Meijer run. Forced myself to get the shopping done in an hour or less. I have a problem staying for hours in Meijer. I think like Meijer does setting up their stores. Hope that makes sense...hate Kroger and by the time I leave the store my blood pressure is up!

I'm seriously thinking of writing the White House on a suggest hiring new people to positions. Make the people watch at least 20..no less...rallies of our President to learn why he won President. Make sure they are the rallies before Kellyanne was hired. No disrespect to Kellyanne but our President talked more freely before she was hired.

Many people do work from home, especially people who work for themselves. I am very suspicious of government workers who “work from home,” however.
