Sure...I agree that could be true.

For my part, if I have to go into my wife’s things, I make a deliberate point of not looking at anything. I work in IT, so I am used to sitting down to work on someone’s computer, but am able to put on blinders so narrow I don’t see anything else except for what I am looking for. It is kind of a mind set.

I figure if my wife wants something in a drawer I don’t normally go into, if she wants me to see it, she will tell me.

I can understand that. My default principle is that I have nothing my husband isn’t welcome to see. If I want to surprise him at Christmas, I can just say, “Please don’t go in my closet: I bought you something and don’t have it wrapped yet.”
