Our culture just does not embrace fat. It’s not attractive especially in lingerie or swimwear. It’s also not healthy. I feel sorry for her because she cannot find a healthy diet/exercise program that would allow her to control her weight to a manageable level.
Not the same things. Choosing a destructive lifestyle is one thing. Slimming down might seem easy to a healthy normal person. But you toss in some health problems and it is not. Lots of things make people fat. And thinking you are saving them by ridicule or telling them to kill themselves is delusional.
All she has to do is eat less and move more.
It really is that simple.
Why feel sorry for those who will not help themselves?
I feel very sorry for her too. I would imagine she is trying to lose weight and also not put her life in hold at the same time. And people are telling her to kill herself.
The body is complex system. The best way to ruin your metabolism and thyroid is to play fad diet roulette. And ‘sensible’ eating is subjective to your needs and the current ‘experts’ like the old dangerous food pyramid brought to us by experts for decades.

Either way, nobody should be telling her to kill herself or anything else. If you don’t want to look at pictures of her, don’t.
