Royal Rumble: Why the Queen lost her cool with granddaughter-in-law Meghan Markle
Daily News & Analysis ^ | November 9, 2018 | DNA Web Team

It appears that Meghan Markle had a tiff with her grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth before her wedding. According to reports in The Sun, the Queen and Meghan had a row over her choice of headgear at the wedding.

Meghan had reportedly picked a tiara with emeralds but she was told she couldn't wear it given its history couldn't be established and that it might have originated Russia.

When Harry got worked up when his sweet princess didn't get what she desired, the Queen had to step in and is quoted saying: "Meghan cannot have whatever she wants.... She gets the tiara she's given by me."

Meghan eventually wore a tiara with platinum and diamond which was designed by Queen Mary, the current queen's grandmother.

Family members were also believed to be incensed by Meghan's treatment of the Royal Staff.

A source was quoted saying: "The message from the Queen was very much Meghan needed to think about how she speaks to staff members and be careful to follow family protocol."

Apparently the problem was never experienced when Kate and Prince William talked to the stuff.

The insider added: "Meghan can be difficult. She has very high standards and is used to working in a Hollywood environment. However there's a different degree of respect in the Royal household and Kate has always been very careful about how she acted around staff."

The Queen is also believed to be unhappy over the decision to wear a veil for the wedding, given it was Meghan Markle's second wedding.

Meghan recently announced that she was pregnant.

On November 2, Prince Harry has shared a photograph of his wife Meghan Markle cradling her baby bump during a walk through a forest in New Zealand on their recent Pacific royal tour.

The couple's Kensington Palace residence published the image on Instagram, with a photo credit for the prince, and a caption which said the couple had returned home "inspired" by their trip.

This marriage is not going to end well for Meghan. She’s going the way of Fergie.

Or Diana....

There are no coincidences with the Royals. Harry’s marriage takes him out of the running for the crown.

Totally different IMO.

Fergie was childish, giggling and acting like a toddler .... yelling and laughing inappropriately.

Megan is entitled. Feels she is owed things. Demanding and .... stuck up!

I know exactly what it means. The fine point is they DID take vows and they WERE married for some period of time. That’s the reality. Your fine point is the legality.

Speaking of which, this excerpt: ". . . a reminder of what was done to India by the British, who conquered one of the richest countries in the world (27 percent of global gross domestic product in 1700) and reduced it to, after over two centuries of looting and exploitation, one of the poorest, most diseased and most illiterate countries on Earth by the time they left in 1947."

I imagine the press’s fine point is to paint a more flattering bio of Meghan.

Not sure which is worse, a British monarch fighting over a tiara or an American citizen demanding one.

There are no coincidences with the Royals. Harry’s marriage takes him out of the running for the crown.

He's still sixth in the line of succession, after William's three children. She attended Catholic school, but supposedly isn't Catholic, so on what do you base your claim?

1. Charles
2. William (Charles' first son)
3. George (William's first child)
4. Charlotte (William's second child)
5. Louis (William's third child)
6. Harry (Charles' second son)
7. Andrew (Charles' eldest brother)
8. Beatrice (Andrew's first child)
9. Eugenie (Andrew's second child)
10. Edward (Charles' next eldest brother)
11. James (Edward's first child)
12. Louise (Edward's second child)
13. Anne (Charles' sister; she is older than Andrew and Edward, but the rules re female heirs were only changed 4 or 5 years ago in case William had a female firstborn; Anne may not ascend as long as she has a brother living due to the former rule giving precedence to males)
14. Peter (Anne's first child)
15. Zara (Anne's second child)
And 43 others more distantly related, such as children of Princess Margaret, the deceased sister of the Queen, and then the Queen's cousins and their children

The queen is a crazy old bat.

Actually, she is not. She is an amazing modern monarch and if anyone is crazy as a bat, it's her son and heir. It's no wonder she has retained her position even at her advanced age rather than let Charles and Camilla take over. At 92, she is still carrying out numerous public engagements for ceremonial and charitable events nearly every day (sometimes several a day), meets with the Prime Minister weekly, reviews a box of documents from Parliament daily, and supervises palace staff for Buckinghom Palace and Windsor Castle, especially for state events such as the reception of foreign dignitaries. Most people would have been dead two decades ago.

I don’t think it is in the cards for Harry ever to ascend to the throne. He’s been told it will never happen. The queen has the DNA evidence.

That’s why he has been acting out - jumping naked into Las Vegas swimming pools, marrying a twice before married actress who is black.

He’ll end up like Diana if he ever tries.

Maybe the Brits will be tricked into voting for it and they’ll get Snipes from Florida to supervise the vote counting..../sarcasm!
