Times and things change... democracy is temporary. Christ is forever.

“We are entering darker days than even the Founding of the United States had to endure.”

I think that what causes the downfall of most Republics is that the young people fail to learn from history and a revolt, violent or nonviolent, against the Republic consumes them.

These thoughts used to bother me so, but the Bible tells me how this ends. Come quickly Lord Jesus!

If this country cannot wipe out and destroy Democrat election fraud, then I may have to agree with you.

There have been too many revivals in this country for me to be that pessimistic. When we’re up against it, freedom always prevails. I agree that we’re on a downward slide on a macro scale, but it will take many decades before we go the way of Rome. That is because we still have a foundation of freedom, plus two good oceans to protect us. I disagree that this was the “most important election of our lifetime”. Bottom line, I’d rather be us than them.

**United States of America (U.S.A.) has population of over 326 million which is ranking 3rd most populous country in the world after China and India. USA is also Word’s 3rd largest country with size of 9.834 million km²**

So 325,500,000 people are going about their daily lives; working, taking care of families and getting along with neighbors and strangers.

The 500K folks you read about in the news or hear about on TV are just a tiny group of criminals or power obsessed jerks.

Relax and live your life in Christ.

Supposedly the beginning of the end for the Roman Empire was when it began to be led by emperors rather than the senate. This started around 27 BC.

The western part of the Roman empire didn't die out until four hundred years later. The eastern part took another 1000 years to bite the dust.

I believe we are on the beginning of a long decline that may take centuries to unfold. It's sad, because it looked like things were on the up-and-up through the 50's. Some would even say things kept improving, at least technologically and in some ways culturally into 2000.

I think we're now talking about "Peak US". And no amount of flag waving or talk of taking back the country is going to stop this. The country has been taken and taken in by our liberal culture.

So I don't think there's going to be some dramatic apocalypse type moment in our lifetimes. Things are just going to get more restrictive, more annoying, more cumbersome, more unspeakable, more licentious, more illiterate, etc.

Are you serious. What has this forum become??? You are all a bunch of cowards that would rather roll over and die then fight for our children’s future. Are you really going to let a minor setback stop you from doing what we need to do? I guess I was mistaken in thinking Freepers were strong men and women who would fight for whats right regardless of the outcome...I guess I was mistaken.

The rest of you can go cry in your soup and hold your head down...Id rather die on my feet than live on my knees. Now is the time to take a stand...Trump cant do it without us. We need be bolder and more resilient than ever before. Quit whining, start thinking positive. We are on the side of good we will win but only if you quit acting like defeatist and snowflakes.

The crisis in America is in my opinion due to the Church’s refusal to preach/teach the inerrant Word of God. Prophecy News Watch had an article on Saturday stating that the Sanhedrin is wanting the newly elected mayor of Jerusalem to begin the building of the Third Temple. And did you notice we now have “Generation Z”? I believe we are right up against the 7th Week of Daniel (7 years). Everyone needs to be “ready” . . .God is in control of everything including our next breath. http://www.patburt.com

Hubby and I always said that Trump was an 8 year reprieve at best. We were thankful for that.

Thankful to be off the left coast for five years. Thankful to have cut all ties to that place.

It was a great time to be alive and more than anything we are thankful that we experienced the last 60 years in America. In the little cubbyhole we have claimed as home is a love for the flag, neighborly kindness, and other things to appreciate.

I understand your sadness. Plan and prepare as best you can. Pray.

You appear to be worried about governance.

Some people are terrified that the Democrats/Socialists/Liberals are some sort of unstoppable monolith.

They aren’t.

They are humans.

That means that they have all the human emotions.

They will turn on each other eventually.

You just can’t get rid of those emotions.

“Why does Comrade Jones have running water in his apartment and I don’t? He should be denounced. I think I will denounce him.”

Greed.....fear.....jealousy.....envy.....arrogance.....

People screw up everything. They’ll screw up the Democrat Party.

Socialism is totalitarian statist tyranny. The people aided by the military have the perfect right to use violence to overthrow a tyranny and establish natural rights again.

You cannot be "proven" wrong, because you appear to be wrapped up in your feelings. No one can prove that how you feel about something is wrong. You are wrong, though. We may be entering dark days, but if you actually read the history of the days you are quoting, you will see that the days are not nearly that dark. That makes your lament seem like hyperbole to me

Also, I think it is very weak writing when someone begins every sentence/paragraph with the same phrase "We are entering darker days than..." Makes it difficult for me to take it seriously. IMO, you could have started with "We are entering darker days than..." and the follow-up sentences/paragraphs could have simply started with "Darker than...". They would then be sentence fragments, but it would be better than the repetition of the entire phrase. JMO.

I don’t think we are done, if, IF, we can restore our voting process. I am not optimistic since the states refused to cooperate with the White House on that.

It may be a citizen thing state by state, getting laws changed and passed to put some integrity back in the process. It would of course be challenged in court at every step by liberal groups like the ACLU, so our side (ACLJ) will have to be proactive. I have noticed that the best time for GOP candidates to sue is not AFTER the election.

If the Fabian Socialists have triumphed, then I’ll have to credit R. A. Heinlein with understanding what that would mean:

“Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”

- Robert A. Heinlein

The world is in for a run of “bad luck” that may last 1,000 years, or a mere century if we are lucky.
