Times and things change... democracy is temporary. Christ is forever.
In 2011 we moved in, and in 2013 bought the adjacent 20 acres which gave us two streams.
Only about 10% of the reason for doing this was for “SHTF”. It’s now 50%. And it would be 80% except we love it here so much that that is half the reason we’re still here.
But anyone familiar with human nature and history knows this road has just about reached its end. It will not be pretty.

Let me be clear: I am NOT personally conceding the fight to retain humanity. I am undergoing a couple of projects, in fact, to attempt to stem the tide as much as possible, though I feel I’m figuratively part of the crew of the Alamo before the final battle.
The first project is the Every Real Vote Counts effort, which is a necessary redundancy play on words to the oxymoronic “Every Vote Counts” farce that projects manufactured votes as votes that need to be “counted.” I will be expounding on this in the near future once the site is up.
The other project is the Class Sponsor project, which will promote local and parental effort into returning the school curricula back to rational, science- and historical-based factual narratives, as opposed to the globalist, anti-Western Civilization mantra that most students have been indoctrinated with for over a generation now.
But if my seeming diatribe has pissed you off, then GOOD. Call me a “soy boy” (or “soi boi” if you want to be gender-neutrally “with it”), but it still does not deflect the overwhelming mindset, and now constitutionally-supported attack on the constitution, and the ensuing results.
Travis McGee is probably point man from Free Republic with his take, in my opinion. Straight Line Logic, Cold Fury, and others along the same lines also have their agreement with this analysis. So understand it’s not a whine, but a warning of things to come.
