You’re looking at a great strategy by ABC. Fire Roseanne, restart the show without her, let it fail, humbly invite Rosanne back for a reprieve of the original show. Ratings will be huge.
ABC aborted it when they aborted Roseanne.

It’s early morning. Dan is tossing and turning in bed and let’s out a scream. The figure next to him wakes up and jokingly says, “Did you have that dream again that I was dead and you are being slowly tortured by our kids?” The figure turns over and it is Roseanne.
New season, no transgender kids. The kid is normal but does have his quirks. Leave the rest of the cast the same. Roseanne can carry them.

As a 70+ year old, I admit that sometimes when everything else I normally watch is reruns or boring, I will tune in South Park for laughs. I did so last night and caught an episode where the kids and Al Gore summoned Satan to help save the community from the demon ManBearPig. Politically incorrect to the max.
I watched part of the first episode, then tuned out because the politics turned me off.
Megan Kelly’s favorite show.. low ratings? I’m shocked.
They just need a few more gay folks , ratings will jump.
#27 ABC/Disney will bring in Kathleen Kennedy so she can work her magic like she did with Star Wars....
